This shop is providing an essential service to the Wolvercote community - we would be lost without it! The owners are pleasant and helpful and there is a great range of food including high-quality chocolate and ice-cream.

Great shop, friendly service and lots of options

New owners - open all day now compared to "Post Office Box". Very good selection including alcohol and very pleasant owners. Only issue I had was they didn't sell chicken.

Good products,need to try.good for groceries and beers/wines,possibly the best shop around the area.

This place is a disgrace. Good quality milk and bread are a paramount requirement of a village store, sadly all this place has to offer is over priced out of date goods bought from supermarket chains and an insidious desire to push vapes on young people. Take a look at their website; totally reprehensible. It’s the ideal location for a successful local shop and sadly it’s being run into the ground.

Can’t really add any more than the previous review, apart from totally agreeing with all that was stated; yes, nothing is priced, so they can charge whatever they like. I’ve even had a situation where one of them said one price and then the older one working there jumped in said a higher price! Of course, I just walked out - they must think we are mugs and I only went in out of desperation, knowing what their reputation is like. Lots of items past their use by date, premises are dirty and messy and no, you are not ‘convenient’ you are inconvenient to the people of Wolvercote, young and old alike. And no believe it or not, we don’t just want Booze and Vapes.

Nothing is priced. They make up their own prices which are over inflated. Many items are past there use by date . Fridges are left open and temperature is not maintained to keep food fresh. A young chap working in there was quite rude when I said how much “ ? After he spent time tapping away on his calculator. Like he knew every price of every item in the store in his head. Yeah! Right. They should be reported to trading standards. Which I may very well do. There is a cost of living crisis and many young families moved into the area . Yes you may be convenient to people of wolvercote. But no need to rob them blind. It’s shocking .

Very sad at how much this shop has gone down hill. I have given them my service a couple of times again since a previous bad experience but I shan’t be any longer. The food is often out of date and the prices seem to be made up! I was recently charged over £3.00 for one banana. I obviously put it back. Things are often from Sainsburys and Asda and say not suitable for resale.
Deeply upsetting when it could be such an asset to the village.
The mess inside and outside is awful and the whole experience of shopping there is unpleasant.

Same thing happened to another customer in front of me in which she questioned staff who reduced price quickly and was embarrassed....randomly set prices for products to overcharge. Funny how children go to shop and you ask where the change is and turns out they been charged more.... not good will lose customers ...people are noticing this happens regularly.
Recently shut down due to rat infestation...since reopened STILL selling out of date goods

Please can you sort out the mess both inside and outside the store! Both are hazardous. Mouldy food and unacceptable rubbish outside.

Charge random extra amounts for the same products while holding the card reader so that you can't see it, and it's all overpriced to begin with.

Says open until 2130, arrived at 1712, it was shut and surrounded by rubbish and overflowing bins, looks revolting

I brought a faulty vape from here and they refused to allow me to return it. You can clearly see it is unused and can tell as it’s ‘heavy’ in comparison to an empty one. I was very disappointed as it is my local shop. Very poor maybe even illegal

Sold gone off food and I received food poisoning also sold their home made pasty things and my friend got food poisoning and was sick for 2 days always try and get more money out of you
