Lovely 'proper' local village store. I found out about it in the Wild Guide Central England book. Great selection of products from tins to flour to toothpaste to meat and cheese etc. You can find more of our reviews and adventures @OxwichAdentures on YouTube and Instagram.

Lovely staff, were super kind and welcoming. Good, fresh products and service and let us fill up our water bottles. Definitely recommend!

What a great little convenience store in a quaint little village.
The service we got was more than anyone could expect.
When we enquired further we discovered this was a community shop run with the assistance of volunteers.
So we purchased, fruit, cheese, pastries and some household items.
Brilliant service with enthusiasm.

I ordered 3 sandwiches to take away. Cheese, tomato and ham. Phoned up at 9.30 and said I would collect at 11.00 am. They were ready and were delicious. Excellent value for money with generous fillings and really fresh bread. A new service and would definitely recommend.

I was camping in the area and was hunting for a coffee shop. Didn’t find one open but then decided to try my luck here. I’m glad I did!
Lovely service, and nice to see a junior member of staff being treated with patience by the supervising staff.
The scone looked good and tasted even better. Highly recommended.

What a lovely and friendly little store. Bought a couple of cheese and tomato rolls, which were made for me as I waited. Delicious, and a good price too.

By far the best find ever!
What an amazing place, food is out of this world and I can honestly say that the quality of cheese and produce has blown me away.

The 'Pantry Picnic' is something really special and I wish I had insisted on paying MORE as I feel it was worth 10x what I actually paid.

I had the pleasure of meeting Martin and I have never felt so looked after and welcome, what a nice gentleman.

Highly recommend a visit, even if it is out of your way you will not regret it.

I will definitely visit again.

I have been meaning to post this review for a little while now.
I was out walking with family and got a nasty bite on my leg so popped in to see if they sold Anti Histamines.
They didn't but the staff were so lovely, one lady popped home to get me some.
Now if that's not great customer service I don't no what is.
Thanks again xx

Lovely, friendly shop where you can buy all the essentials, plus cheese (if you don't already count this as essential) treats and gifts.

Came across the Pantry on a cold winter day when needing directions to local address. Very warm, friendly welcome - nothing too much trouble - and excellent food on offer. Will return with the sun and warmth and spend longer next time!

a beautiful village set within the Forest of Dean, the village is warm and welcoming. I had the opportunity to meet with some friendly individuals and had great cups of tea in the pantry. My thanks to Sandy for taking the time to stop and chat and invite me in for more cups of tea. I hope to visit again in the near future.
