Very friendly staff. Always helpful and pleasant. Cleans and tidy inside. Good to see C19 rules being followed. Restricted people so social distancing wasn’t a problem. Had to wait outside for a couple of minutes but that was okay.

One of the best local groceries in Summertown.

I am especially under the moral obligation to mention one of their cashiers, Matthew! Such a nice guy this man is! Always has the energy and patience to have a tiny little chat with every single customer. Always brightens my day! What a kind soul!

Great selection for Gluten Free. Never seen these before & they do the new gf pain aux raisins too.

Leaving this review just to add +1 to Matthew (not me) on the tills being an incredibly nice guy. I will specifically wait longer in his queue with a less full queue right next to it if it means I'm served by him as he brightens my day every time. I hope M&S are treating him well.

Best place to go grocery shopping in Summertown and whole north Oxford.
Always well looked after with wide range of great food and drinks.
Staff always very helpful and very well organised.
Prices might be higher than in other stores around but there is very good reason for it. Quality of food in this are doesn’t have competition.

Simply the best m@s food shop there is - staff like one big happy family, coping with hectic times and relaxed times very well. Staff in coffee shop couldn't be more charming and caring - a real service to the community and an oasis from stress.

Good selection of food, also has café area. Besides the cooperative next door, the other stores nearby (tesco and sainsburys) are express/convenience versions with little selection. Not much non-food at this location as the store's title says, and like most M&S's, most products are their own brand.

It might be deemed 'uppity' but the prices are on par with co-op if you make the necessary comparisons. Cashiers are friendly and efficient and the store is neat and stocked with the essentials and a little more.

Fantastic staff at this store lead by a lovely manager who I could see was passionate about her store and great service, I found all my easter bits and got to the checkout and received even more great service from a person, not a self service. Will be back.

Was 2 days before Christmas. Plenty of stock on shelves. Lots of tills open, no long queues. Was a pleasure to shop.

I wish I could take this grocery store to the states. Prices are reasonable, theres also a small care that serves hot food. The store is clean and well organized.

It was good and there was a helpful gentleman on the self service till who was alert and helpful and greeted customers with a smile and a good morning which was very nice to see

Very spacious and lots of selections. I’d recommend coming during non-Peak hour (before 11am) because it can get quite crowded.
