Been in today and bought a halkon jacket, the guy who served me was ultra knowledgeable and realistic! Offered a discount on the cost in lieu of a freebie which was perfect for me! Fantastic customer service, wouldn't hesitate to recommend 👍

Michelle could not have been more helpful in the Keswick store, and she expertly explained the features/benefits of Páramo, and guided me towards the Alta III jacket. I’m thrilled with it. I cannot rate this place more highly, and I have been buying outdoor gear in the Lake District for 30+ years…👍👍👍

I visited in August, hoping to find a breathable waterproof jacket to replace a worn-out Goretex one. I was served by a charming lady who clearly knew the stock inside out. I explained what I expected of a waterproof, she recommended the Velez smock, which I bought and which has served me very well since in some pretty damp conditions. Thank you - I recommend the shop whenever I can.

Bought two jackets from this store and the customer service was fantastic.Ewan who dealt with us was a wealth of knowledge about paramo.Even telling us how many times a year to wash and proof,put your washing machine in a rinse cycle to get rid of washing detergent.Before using tech wash.Would definitely recommend.

The staff are very knowledgeable about their product lines and it's difference to mainstream laminated waterproofs. I bought a jacket and changed my mind a few weeks later (labels etc still attached and only worn indoors). There was no quibbling and the exchange was very straightforward. Well done Páramo.

Sat 4th Feb 2023 I entered Paramo Keswick with a view to gaining info on these highly recommended jackets, Donna could not have been more informative or helpful. She explained every part of the jacket, how they worked, made sure I knew exactly what I required and that the fit was comfortable. Showed how to re-pack the hood correctly and countless other things. My Lab was made welcome with some nice treats while I tried the Halcon and Pajero jackets. I felt no pressure and with the loyalty card got 10% off plus 50% off some Nikwax direct wash in. So I am more than happy with my new Pajero and with the great customer service I received.

I have a large collection from the Keswick store. The staff are great, they're friendly, knowledgeable & help you make the correct choice with great advice.
Páramo kit is brilliant, I can't fault it.
I have used the usual gore-tex type membrane kit but Páramo beats them in every sense, you stay warm & dry with no "boil in the bag" feeling you get with the membrane offerings when you're working hard. I won't use anything else for my outdoor activities, top kit 👍

We booked an appointment to look at/purchase a jacket we had researched into. Due to the covid-19 situation they kindly and thoughtfully asked in advance which type and size to make sure what we wanted to look at would not be unavailable due to quarantine procedures. Every single part/function/use of the jacket was fully explained showing a fantastic knowledge of the brand they represent. The customer experience from start to finish was absolutely spot on and definitely worth traveling the 250 mile round journey to make a purchase.

Staff so informative and helpful! Spent a long time explaining how different coats worked regarding waterproof / waterproof properties etc and proper maintenance. Got my coat re-proofed in-store and happy with the service. Really like supporting an ethical brand too and love my paramo coat! Would recommend.

It’s was not our first visit and won’t be our last. I have held a Paramo Pro card for several years and this is my Brand Store of Choice. Friendly helpful team with great product knowledge. On this occasion we had a very rare issue with a zip on a new jacket. The jacket was replaced and we brought a new coat whilst we were in store. Paramo clothing is amazing and their repair service is amazing. I still have my first Alta II coat but it’s had new back, new zip and a few other repairs ! The coat still looks like new. It takes a while to work out just how good the clothing system is. But by constant cleaning with Tec Wash and then re proofing my first coat is now 14 years old and just like new. I tend to use it for dog walking now as well as hillwalking and have a few options for different occasions. My girlfriend loves her system and today I got her the Alta III jacket as she is now using her Alta for Work and Dog Walking. We always joke and say you buy Paramo once and it lasts for the rest of your life. They even offer Part exchange on your old Paramo Gear when you want to upgrade. Gear shop and amazing products. Also Dog Friendly ! All we need now is Paramo Dog Coats !

Lovely little shop! Mark who helped and advised us could not have been more helpful, very knowledgeable and made the sometimes awkward experience a delight!

He even saved me £50 through explaining the garment recycling scheme, what a credit to the shop and brand!

Paramo - I love your products but some of your colour choices are obscure... I love a bright jacket but some of the colour schemes are just plain crazy, it's this that stops me from buying more of your items.

Visited on Saturday 15/1/22. Staff could not have been more helpful. I already have a Paramo Helki black and was after a similar to add to my wardrobe. After quite a while of trying different colours with the help of the staff, I settled for the rust coloured Helki, discounted price as well. Ended up sharing fotos of my walks in Morecambe with tge staff.
A thoroughly enjoyable experience.
And I am determined to walk Cat Bells this year.....soon.

Extremely knowledgeable staff. Probably the best outdoor clothing brand there is. Paramo gear is used by British Mountain Rescue so that pretty much confirms how good it is. Really impressed with the ethics too. It's also not sold out to any big companies!

Easy and quick to order my Paramo velez smock. Spoke to Gemma, who works at the Keswick store, friendly and efficient. Received my order yesterday, good quality garment. We will definitely visit Paramo in Keswick next time we're in the Lake District.

I left in my old Alta 11 jacket for repair mid September. Tear to left sleeve and back panel repair.

This was the reply from the repair people when I queried how repairs were coming along

"Apologies for the delay, but when the left sleeve was replaced it made the undamaged right sleeve look even more faded than before so we have replaced that sleeve too, free of charge to even it up!"

Bought a pair of boots from them years back and they spent hours with me getting the right ones.
Went back this year for a Paramo jacket and again service was excellent.

Friendly, helpful staff, who are always happy to advise, and a special shout out to Ewan who went the extra mile in sourcing me a pair of Cascada trousers and arranging delivery, so I'll be toasty, warm and dry when I go out stomping this winter. Have just received a pair of ladies Cascada II trousers. They are extremely well made and comfortable. May I also praise Michelle for her explanations on the care and fitting of this garment, much appreciated.
