This is such a convenient shop locally. They sell everything you need (albeit more expensive than other shops but what do you expect from a convenience store?) I've seen other reviews complaining about the staff being rude. I cannot speak highly enough about the two men who work there. They are always polite and happy to help and greet you with a smile upon entering. They run an excellent service for all of the parcels being posted/delivered and are open all hours of the day. It is usually a £3 minimum card spend.

For a pretty small shop it stocks a good variety of essentials.

This shop is getting worse, I hear other people are also complaining. Hardly any fresh vegetables or fruit sold here in a daily basis! In the summer the choice is very bad. The only salad vegetables are tomatoes! No winter vegetables apart from potatoes and the occasional bag of carrots! Always low on good quality butter, cheese and no childrens yogurt's. No fresh ham, chicken, bacon or sausages anymore! Baby section very poor.
They won't sell stamps any more, even though they sell occasion cards, which is now a very poor selection! Especially for Christian celebrations! More of an off licence now than a convenience shop!
Miss the old shop, used to sell a little bit of everything.
No fresh home made bread, cream cakes or pies which are truly missed.

Deteriorated somewhat in recent years, staff are great, owners appear uncaring or just rude. Still adequate as corner shop but I don't use it unless I have to.

What a pleasure this visit was, I have been here twice and both times the same man served me. I don't know what his issue is but he may well be the rudest man I've met. Whatever you do don't ask for the price of something in here it was as if I'd just insulted his mother. Never written a review before, but I wouldn't return here if it was the last shop on Earth.

What a lovely warm welcome - NOT!! What a horrifying first and last experience!
I am a Sandbach resident and wasn't aware of this store, until I had the misfortune of visiting this store for the very first time yesterday to return a parcel. RUDE isn't the word! It's quite clear the chap who runs this store is not happy with people visiting his store to return parcels, so my question is why do it? As I was about to enter the store with my parcel, behind someone else, he shut and locked the door before I could enter. I could quite clearly see customers in the store and wondered what on earth was going on, but then noticed the sign on the door so proceeded to wait. He then opened the door, told me his till was down and would be 5 more minutes then slammed the door again. 5 minutes later, he opened the door to let a customer out, where I mentioned I was only returning a parcel and didn't need the till, and he said " doesn't matter " and shut the door again abrupt. If I wasn't so desperate to return the parcel ( another local drop off point store's printer wasn't working) I'd of left immediately. Whilst waiting, I got speaking to another customer, who told me he is always very rude to people and like this all the time. Wow.
When I entered the store, I managed to sort the label out on the machine, chipperly said hello to him and gave him my parcel, he didn't utter a word back and just threw a receipt on the counter at me, it was almost intimidating. Wow. How this guy gets regular business with these customer service skills god only knows? I'm now considering contacting my delivery company regarding my experience as this guy quite clearly doesn't want this kind of footfall in his store! Beware.

Awful! I couldn’t believe on how rude the staff are! The don’t greet you and as soon as I walked the man on the till was on the phone and said “hurry I’m waiting!”. The second I walked in! On another occasion we were patiently waiting and the man was on his phone not paying any interest. When he did serve us, he expected my friend to know the amount of change coz he couldn’t be bothered! The shop also seems unhygienic and they definitely need a new door to the fridge. Please avoid if you can, and I’m being generous in this review! Absolutely shocking prices which they make up and are a rip off!! This shop is the biggest joke I have seen in my life!

I went in today to return an Amazon parcel. I was the only one in the shop. An Indian man was working today and was exceptionally rude to me when I asked him for help scanning my parcel. Told me not his business and to contact Amazon if I couldn't enlarge my return QR code. He was breaking up boxes and had no customers to serve. I told him he was the rudest person I had ever encountered in a shop and asked him if this was the way he spoke to all women, esp over 65! When I eventually worked out how to print off my return label he told me to stick it on myself as if even that was not his job! I told him I would report him as he shouldn't be serving customers and he told me to do as I pleased! Surely, he's not the owner! Other staff have always been helpful and patient. Anyone know the owner?

Not even 1 star worthy paid contactless, to come home and notice the worker today has completely ripped us off and overcharged. Made up prices and ignored all tags in store.

Dirty and very rude. Would avoid.
Went to post a Hermes parcel, drove across town and the man decided he wasn’t taking parcels on a Monday morning.. 12 noon at this point. Why advertise a service you aren’t providing? He wasn’t doing anything else he could have taken 2 small parcels just decided he was on a power trip and ordered me out the shop with instructions to come back later. I won’t be returning. Went to one stop instead. Doesn’t even deserve one star very grubby shop.

Rude and despicable attitude stating that he does not accept Hermes Parcels on a Monday morning. Refused to give a reason even though the Hermes collection van was on the forecourt. Avoid this awful shop.
If I could give less than 1 star I would.

The door is open for business unless you have a parcel....quite why this services is offered I Don't know as they obviously don't want to do it.

Absolutely dreadful service wanted to return a parcel he just shouted at me and said the printer is broken and continued his phone conversation.

Awful staff, been there a few times to return parcels, the worst experiences I ever had.
