Prodigiously well stocked off-licence with an international and local beer range to make most chain shops and supermarkets weep. Also has spirits, liqueurs and mixers to cover almost any requirement. Their scotch selection is unbelievable.

Stocked with an incredible variety of craft beers and alcohols, but also with some essentials that have been impossible to find in other places during the lockdown. Our thanks to the (very friendly) owners!

5 stars. when i went to oxford, i lived in an attic room across the street, and the grog shop was always THE place to go to get a snack, whether it be a pepsi with real sugar, a reeses pb cup pack that had THREE pb cups, a snickers, ben and jerrys chocolate ice cream...as long as it was before 11pm lol. so many memories of this fine neighborhood shop in a fine neighorhood in a fine town with a fine university, good times all around
