ALDI

Well laid out and popular Aldi supermarket at Springfield. The store itself is pretty much faultless. However, let’s move on to the visibly apparent carpark fiasco at this store! We did our shopping at around 12pm on a Sunday afternoon. It took us almost 25 minutes to vacate these premises carpark due to the poorly planned traffic light settings. Only 2 or 3, occasionally 4 cars were allowed through green at this junction at any time. The site is no longer a car dealership but a very busy supermarket with hundreds more cars using the junction. Cars were struggling to enter the carpark due to the congestion created by the traffic light delay.
What if there were an emergency?

Excellent service and variety of goods available. Limited time on car park to watch out for and no return within a certain time which is very hot on and people I know have been fined for returning within said time! Only downside to this store is junction to get out which is very slow and a nightmare. They are currently altering this at present which makes it a no go area at present for me until completed.

Called into a newish Aldi in Trent Vale Wow what a bright spacious store. Its set out so well, easy to get around and I will definitely visit for a bigger shop on Monday

Really nice Aldi, very clean, fully stocked and tidy, easy parking and friendly staff. This Trent Vale store is one of the best.

For all your middle isle bargains to your weekly shop this place is a must go to. Always plenty of stock, it's clean and tidy, staff are always polite and attentive when need be. Only negative can be not enough tills at peak times.

Clean, lots to offer. Staff were friendly even if it's busy. I could imagine how stressful it can be sometimes.

Only issue I've had was the traffic getting in or out. No fault of the store I don't think. More of the roads. Was stuck in the parking lot for like 2 hours. Terrible road design, it needs fixing.

Aldi Clayton is great with the bonus of a great free carpark

The layout of this new store makes it easier to move through the aisle and everything is easily accessible. Friendly, helpful staff are always at hand, and till queues move quickly. The public restroom is kept clean, and though there is only one, it is accessible to all, including a baby changing station and a bar for those who may need it next to the toilet.
Built for purpose and well-staffed, it is a great store.

This store is an upgrade from the Springfields retail park next door.
It's much bigger than the old store, eg.
Bigger carpark.
Bigger Disabled parking.
Car charging points. ( Electric vehicles)
Bigger fridges.
Wider ailses.
Brighter lighting.
More choice.
Self scan tills.
Traffic lights are on the road entrance to the store car park, so there is no queue to get in or off the carpark.
And there is traffic light control on the entrance of the store doors.
All in all, it's a great store that has it all.

Great place, very easy to get around and spotlessly clean. It's a newer build compared to our usual store and is very impressive. We will definitely go again

Who thought it a good idea to put all the chilled items in the first isle? Everything warmed up nicely by the time you reach the tills, repacked and loaded in the car and arrived home. Brand new shop clean and tidy. Staff as per usual sparse on the ground.
