Ananta Sun Vacation Properties

We stayed in Casita #3 at Ananta Sun. The location was in between West End and West Bay, closer to West Bay. It was within walking distance to either beach, but water taxi is more fun. Both were gorgeous. The Casita was adorable and perfect for a couple. It had an outside deck with comfortable chairs, perfect for coffee in the morning. The pool, hot tub, and grounds were perfectly maintained. The owner Guy was very helpful and kept us in the loop from beginning to end. Every morning and evening the Scarlet Macaws visit. We also watched an agouti wander around in the morning. The location is perfect, but understand that it is a steep hill going to and coming from the beach. Dana's food stand had great local food at affordable prices. The Boat Bar had great sunset views and local beer, and served food. The location is in the fancy hotel district and if you want fancy dinners they are very close by. There are several long term renters at the resort and they were very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed being close to things, but that the resort felt like a private quiet oasis. We hope to return soon.

Recently stayed at a beautiful cabin in Antana Sun, Roatán, and it was a delightful experience. The cabin was cozy, modern, and impeccably clean, with all the necessary amenities like a kitchen, iron, and hairdryer. The tranquility of the place was unmatched, complete with a pool, hammock, and jacuzzi. The porch was perfect for relaxing. Guy, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and understanding, especially regarding a small incident with the toilet seat. The location in West Bay is serene yet conveniently close to popular spots. Highly recommend for a peaceful and comfortable getaway.

Ananta Sun is the place to stay when visiting Roatán. Hosted by Guy, both the cabins and the houses are fantastic. Great location! Guy is extremely kind and attentive. He will take good care of visitors and facilitate all the necessary info. You won’t regret it. And you will return to Ananta!

I had a lovely stay at Ananta Sun Casita. I had an unplanned night in Roatan and I had a super easy time booking and checking in on short notice. The casita was really cute and had everything you might need. I loved the hammocks and the easy walk to the beach.

Everything about this stay was perfect. Easy communication, directions, access to the beach within walking distance, clean rooms, GREAT water pressure. The nice clean well maintained pool and hot tub were top notch. When we visit again, we'll be staying here for sure!! Guy was great to work with! Highly recommend!

Certainly a 5 star property... beautiful surroundings, pool, hot tub, and other amenities. Our host Guy was very friendly and helped us navigate our new surroundings during our stay.

had an amazing time after our wedding there! beach is about 1 min walking thru a private street behind the complex. there are 3 good and fancy restaurants walking distance. the pool was perfect, it has a very functional kitchen, the studio is as clean as it could get, shower has good water pressure and hot water. they were having construction next door so it was a little noisy during the day but once the construction is done, the area is super quiet and relaxing. you can walk from there to west end or west bay busy area, so it's very well located.

The place was incredible. It truly feels like a home away from home from start to finish. The location of my unit was extremely private and peaceful. In the morning you can see wild macaws in the trees, hop in the private pool, have breakfast in a fully stocked kitchen ready to cook whatever you desire, and look out into the ocean. The property is located in between west end and west bay making it a very short drive to the popular restaurants/beaches. The finishings inside the house were done very nicely. There is air conditioning in every room and if the power even went out there was a backup generator that kicked on right away. No comfort was missed while planning this property and I am so glad I chose it. My wife and I brought our 8 month old and we felt safe, and comfortable the whole time. I cannot say enough great things about my stay. I absolutely LOVED my time on this beautiful island. The location was perfect!!! Close enough yet far enough away from the tourist traps of West Bay and West End yet didn't feel secluded. West Bay is walkable, West End technically is too, but more efficient/safer to just get a $4 water taxi. The area was private and peaceful, yet had many options for restaurants nearby. I appreciated Guy's hospitality and conversation. I had never felt more peace while traveling alone. The casitas are the perfect size for one or two people. The bathroom is very decent size and was squeaky clean. I appreciated the service for pick up and drop off, and the option to get groceries. The mini kitchenette was great for breakfast to start the day. The pool was a perfect touch to this little community and the hot tub after a long day of exploring was the icing on the cake. I didn't know what to expect, but it was greater than I had imagined. I will def be back

Stayed here in Feb/March 2023. Great stay, very quality accommodations. Good location in between West End and West Bay, short water taxi ride or 20 min walk to each location from property (easier to West Bay). Somewhat steep walk to ocean from property, but easily do-able. Some close restaurants within 5 minute walk. Excellent host. Zip lines just near the closest main road. Would absolutely stay again.

The casita is surrounded by luxury resorts that can be anywhere between 3 to 5 times the price, so this is an amazing bargain and well worth the price. There’s easy access to the beach and connection to the rest of the island, and between Ibagari and Blue Roatan, there are plenty of excellent Michelin-star type of food and restaurants in the area. Also, my wife and I walked from the casita all the way to West Bay, and it was only a 20 minute walk by the beach. Really convenient, clean place and amazing value. I highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed at Guy's little studio "casitas" in March and we fell in love with the property. It is super quiet and chill. The pool and hammocks were the perfect setting for relaxation. I loved that it was a small community of casitas. The Macaws were a welcoming addition. I honestly wished we had stayed there longer. Guy was super helpful and friendly and gave us a few good tips of where to go nearby. The casitas were clean and the AC at the end of a hot day was a plus for me. I would definitely recommend staying at his casitas on Roatan if you like some quiet, away from the hustle n' bustle but you still want to be close to restaurants and activities. Thanks again for a great stay!

Booked through air bnb. Overall very quiet area. Very clean and accommodating. The manager dolly was very nice and helpful. I recommend this location if you’re looking for a quiet part of the island and near the beach.

I have been coming to Roatan for about 10 years. I’m a little hesitant to give a great review because future vacancies may be harder to get. Oh well. Guy is a great guy. It is a perfect location between West End and West Bay. Wonderful restaurants have popped up right down the hill on the beach. We rented the villa Casa Blanca. Private pool, ocean view deck, beautiful house. All the casitas are really cool also. I’ll be back if all of you don’t book it up.

My family and I (group of about 14) stayed at this property for 4 days towards the end of last month and had an absolute blast! The property is all you ask for in paradise. Great views, secluded spot, private pool, secure and comfortable. We did not walk down to the beach as we thought it would be a nice hike on the way back up but if you are up for that the beach is close.

Super super super beautiful place guacamayas cozy spots clean room and the pool is awesome! And they have jacuzzi. Close to all the fine dining restaurants.

Amazing experience, I stayed there for new years with my wife and my little boy and we enjoyed every day. Guy the host was very helpful with everything we needed - including getting a travel crib for us to use during our stay! We loved the pool and location..

A friend and I had a great time at Guy’s Ananta Sun casitas. The arranged transportation offered was fantastic. We were able to stop by the grocery store and get the food we needed to make in the casita. The casita was just the right size for two people and fully equipped for any meal or drinks we wanted to make.

Loved the pool and outdoor space on property. Unfortunately, we came and had rain every single day, but it would be a beautiful place to lounge in the sun and spend your evenings.

Guy was extremely helpful with any need we had especially since the rain made the vacation more complicated. His recommended dive shop was perfect. Also, walkable were two boutique hotels with lovely restaurants and a local bar and Honduran food vendor nearby as well.

West Bay is walkable on the beach but West End is not. Ground transport is more $ than water taxi. Would return without hesitation!

Way better than a hotel room and fewer people.
