Wonderful place to stay while in Utila. AC was super cold! Great place to relax, swim, eat, drink, and go diving. Very lovely sunset from the dock also!

If your your adventurous, looking for a bit of more laid back diving school with great community, restaurant, beach, and bar this place is for you!
Did 9 dives and my advanced open water course with these guys! Everything was on point! Amazing place, school and the people.

Most of the people are doing their DM so do not expect too personalized dives tho. The dives are made mostly to the sites for people to dives according to their course requirements, so there are going to be a lot of people in the same bost doing their open water/advanced, and rescue courses!
There are different accomodation option to chose from, hostel dorms are ok and come for free with a course, privates are 20-30$ and then there is more luxury option available.
Food and the beach is perfect, they have 2 boats and a great Captain! 🐙🌙💡

One of the best Diveshops in Utila, it is perfectly located in the bay with a pier and waterfront beach with seats and beds to stay confortably in the sun. There are rooms available for students and fundivers. The boat is very confortable and the staff is well prepared and knowledgeable. There is a very nice restaurant in the first floor, opened to the public in general. The best point to watch the sunset!

Awesome place to get experience diving. I got my advanced open water here with Cynthia and she made the experience enjoyable and I always felt I was in good hands. She was attentive in adjusting my weights and helped me get my buoyancy down correct. She has to be one of the best instructors out there and I would recommend her to anyone. They offer different number of dorms that are free to stay during your classes which adds to the value. The boats were roomy which made getting in and out of the water hassle free.

We had the most amazing 3days completing Open water Padi with Cynthia and Rena.
They were so thorough and patient with all of us and despite there being 11 of us in our group we always felt safe and well supervised by trainees Sarah and Fanny.
Our free fun dives on the final day around different locations on the reef was a brilliant way to finish off our experience and instill all the skills we had learnt.

Great place to do a scuba diving course!
We had a great time staying here during the course days, living in a free dorm for those who take the course.

Our guide was the Israeli Bar, did the Hebrew course for us and it was excellent.

Amazing, smooth and very professional diving classes with the dive master Chris; a place that I recommend for anyone who want to get his PADI license!Also the hostel has all facilities to make life easy on that peaceful Island.

Amazing place to get your PADI certifications or go for guided dives. Very professional yet feels like a big family. Well maintained equipment. Loved the game nights, trivia and karaoke nights. You can stay in provided 4 person dorms or private rooms which get cleaned daily. Very clean and safe. Definitely staying there again the next time I am on Utila ❤

Home away from home! Each time I come back to Utila I'm guaranteed to be a part of this family. The women who run it are BADASSES and now dear friends. The vibe is always great.

There's always something fun going on, like kareoki or a grad party. The food is good and their bar is always a great place to make friends.

Their beach is a wonderful place to hang out during the day and one of the best places to swim on the island. Good beach chairs and deep water if you like swimming laps.

I am incredibly pleased to recommend Underwater Vision after the care they took to help me get back in the water after a break from diving. Kaitlin is an absolutely exceptional instructor, spending a long time one on one with me during my refresher and going above and beyond to make sure my fun dives helped get my confidence back. 5 stars from a nervous diver who is happy to be back in the water!

Good place to refill your drinking water. Per gallon or per liter. Also has a bar, pool table and gorgeous setting close to the beach.

In 2022 I planned to do my PADI open water in Utila as I travelled around for 6 months at that time. Underwater Vision was surely the best choice me and my travel buddy could have made.
Our instructor Cynthia was very professional. Calm, funny and very competent in teaching all the diving stuff in any imaginable way. You could tell she was very experienced and knew what she was doing. I always felt 100% safe underwater. She was our scuba mommy :))
Also the divemasters Chris and Ariel and the instructor in training (Max) were doing a fantastic job. I never felt I was in a "class", because it was always a really chill vibe around. But you could really see the progress the whole group was doing from hour by hour!
The love of all these people in the diving class was absolutetly fantastic. I will never forget the time with those peeps.

Incredible place. This place is well-run. Management is welcoming and ready to help, they've got good food, decent lodging options, chill vibes environment with spaces to relax, a volleyball net, pool table, events at night and everyone is ridiculously friendly.
Prices for the courses and fun dives are competitive, they'll provide all equipment and instructors are great. My instructor Morgan was professional, patient, and extremely caring. Morgan, kudos for loving everything you do! People like you really do make these places what they are. Best of luck in your future endeavours!

I had the most amazing time doing my IDC and MSDT internship with Underwater Vision. Grace Williams is the best instructor I’ve ever been blessed to work with and learn from. She is out of this world great at her job and my overall experience at UWV was probably the best experience of my entire life thus far. I went to go for one month and ended up staying 3 and a half months. I will definitely be going back and doing more training there! All of the instructors and staff in that shop are some of the most amazing people I have ever met in my entire life and I think anybody would be lucky to do their training here!

Underwater Vision was easily the highlight of my month long trip across Central America! Upon arriving here I instantly felt like I was at home everyone was so friendly. I loved staying in the dorms there, we did activities every night and I met the most amazing people. I did my Advanced open water certification with Cynthia and she was both knowledgeable and fun! I always felt safe during each dive, Cynthia made me feel very supported both in and out of the water and she was able to answer every question I had! I have been recommending this place to everyone I've met during my travels since staying here. 10/10 place, Trudys was amazing for food and drinks, all around an incredible spot to stay and dive!

Bar, decent food, decent priced lodging, pool table, tiny private “beach”, diving... this is the one stop shop on Utila. Centrally located and generally welcoming staff. The place to have your first cocktail of the night.

I was lucky enough to take the PADI Wreck Diver course with instructor Dane at Underwater Vision. Of the 40+ dives I've completed this year, I consider him to be the best instructor I've ever had the chance to work with. He knows his stuff, and conveys it well. He inspires respect, charisma and confidence. His passion for diving is contagious! I recommend him 100%. Thank you, Dane!

Absolutely loved my time at Underwater. I did my AOW with Anthony who was an amazing instructor and I would highly recommend! All the instructors and DMs are professional and have great senses of humour. Safety is key and you can definitely rely on UWV for teaching you to breathe underwater. The rooms are basic but are cleaned everyday and if you're a couple they usually upgrade you to a private room which is a bonus. You will spend more time here than you planned, it's that good! Not to mention the sealife you'll see is amazing: dolphins, turtles, rays and loads of other fish.
