The Beach House Roatán at Half Moon Bay

Great boutique hotel at West End. The rooms are well appointed and the housekeeping does a great job! The on-site restaurant and bar is top notch, whether for breakfast, lunch or dinner - all were great!! Staff members Andromeda and Tessa were a delight and super friendly. Front desk manager, Paola B., was always willing to help with anything we needed. The location can’t be beat. There are many highly-rated restaurants within walking distance and there’s a great little bar next door.

Totally loved The Beach House! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The area was fun and upbeat. Our room was great, there was a refrigerator, comfy bed, and a TV I never turned on. You do hear some road noise and music from the tiki bar next door, but it just added to the charm. The beach was small but clean and a great place to swim. The bartender was amazing, drinks could not be beat ! Will definitely stay again!

Lovely place, great food and service. Website accurately depicts the property. We appreciated the well lighted room (room 3). Light fresh creative cuisine in the restaurant. Wish we had taken an upper floor room. The lower floor rooms open on a veranda shared by others, so it's less private; people walk by. No biggie, but stay upstairs if you like to run around nude with the curtains open. :) Service was great. They booked tours for us, arranged all transport, answered many questions, etc. Service in the restaurant was also good, and they were very accommodating of dietary idiosyncracies.

This was our second stay at The BeachHouse, and we came in a large group for a big ol’ family vacation. From the moment we arrived to when their driver service returned us to the airport was excellent. The staff of the hotel and their recommendations for things to do and places to visit to the comfortable rooms (recommend 14) there wasn’t a single thing missing. Thank you for a great vacation we will certainly be back!

The welcoming they’re waiting for us was amazing we’re receiving with a big smile in your faces and kindness about the views in front the sea even so have a great chance to watch the water turquoise color was definitely awesome.

The service from the rest of the staff and bathroom is so cool when we going out there form activities to programming for the staff and coming to the bathroom every places so clean definitely loving the place take a break to breathing and rest so good

This hotel is really beautiful. Such a great location. We had a great time. The front desk girl is so so sweet and helpful. The drivers are great. Henry is amazing. The food and drinks at the restaurant in wonderful. Just everything is great!
BUT only thing I will mention in regards to service. The tall male bartender at the restaurant is kind of off. Not necessarily rude but definitely not the nicest around. But still highly recommend the hotel!

Our whole family stayed here for our fortieth anniversary, to do a vow renewal on the beach. Paola was wonderful, and made sure our event was absolutely beautiful. The staff is friendly and efficient, arranging transportation for all eighteen of us. Andromeda at the bar was awesome. She kept bringing extra cherries for my grandkids' drinks, which seemed to be a real high point of the vacation for them! The location cannot be beat. Right on the beach, within walking distance of so much good food and great activities. Thank you, Beach House, for making our anniversary a memorable one. Can't wait to come back.

My wife and I spent our anniversary with the wonderful folks at the Beach House. They went above and beyond to ensure that our trip was spectacular. We'll definitely be back. Our room was beautiful, the food was great and the staff was incredible.

We vacationed in Roatan last month and stayed at The Beach House. What a wonderful location and hospitality!! Our room was a few steps from the water and the staff made our trip so memorable!! The restaurant on the second floor was amazing, we ended up eating there quite a bit. Also, I want to be sure to mention that the hotel emailed us several times in preparation of our trip to ensure we had the best experience. We can't wait to come back....highly recommend!!

This is a beautiful resort. All the staff is great except the one lady at the bar she is rude as hell. The food has a long wait time but worth the wait, we ate almost everything. Very safe, very clean and worth every penny. They even cooked the fish for us that we caught that day!

Our first time to actually stay in West End. Just a few steps to the water, Sun Divers was next door so few steps to dive. The rooms were awesome and the staff was great. Bonnie and Jeannie that worked in the restaurant/bar was so attentive, friendly, and fun. I might mention the food and service was superb! Henry was so nice. He kept our outside area clean and organized. Brought us floats and met our every need. We will definitely be going back!

Love the new look! We got to try to new restaurant and the tacos are amazing. The homemade thick corn tortillas-my favorite. We had the shrimp and the veggie tacos, both amazing. So many great items and we need to come back for brunch. So impressed with all of the renovations and the view, is amazing as ever.

Our room was large and spotless. We had a lovely balcony with a beautiful view of the Caribbean. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient to multiple dive shops and restaurants. It's also very near the taxi area. The restaurant is lovely as well. There is also a private pier with seating and a small bar. The hotel is located very near to a larger bar with live music some nights, but the music is stopped or turned down early, usually by 9:30. I very much recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

We stayed here for 11 days!! The hotel was very clean, well appointed in every way. The staff that includes everyone were amazing and so friendly and helpful. They offered excellent services from housekeeping to fabulous meals. The restaurant is open from 7 am to 9 pm serving fresh creative dishes every day!! Excellent location! We highly recommend the Beach House! Be sure and meet Henry!

My family of 5 stayed here last month and it was excellent. Rooms were clean and well equipped, hotel restaurant was excellent and the staff without exception was friendly and helpful. Better still, this hotel is located right next to the water and has great sunsets. Also good is that it's on the edge of the street with all the bars and restaurants and scuba shops, so everything is in very easy walking distance. The best beach bar in town is right next door, so be sure to stop in for a drink. We felt safe the entire time.

It was a pleasent stay, room service was always on time, the rooms are neat, we will come back soon.

This is our second time staying at the beach house boutique hotel, and we LOVE it! Staff is always the most welcoming and they helped us with our requests, the suit we stayed in was so beautiful and clean, let’s not talk about the restaurant, everything is delicious. The view is amazing and the wifi works super fast. Definitely staying here on our next trip.

Amazing tapas. I was blown away at the quality, presentation, and flavor. The steak and potatoes tapas with a Sunnyside up egg was 4oz. of perfectly cooked steak with cubed potatoes and sauce with each bite dipped in egg yoke. I want to bring this home to Alaska.

My wife and I just returned from a delightful trip to Roatan, Honduras where we volunteered in the dental clinic at Clinica Esperanza with our dear friends from Texas, Monte and Lynn. Just like last year, we stayed at The Beach House and had a great time! Everyone connected with this outstanding hotel are the Best!
Alex and Moses drove us around and were punctual, happy, gracious and kind. Kathy at the front desk was really helpful in getting us checked in; and finding out about Catholic church services on Sunday. Henry welcomed us back and always seems almost honored to carry our bags. The restaurant is outstanding with very tasty meals and drinks -- breakfast, lunch and dinner. The waitresses Bonnie and Jeannie treat us like family with such warmth and love, and Noel is always eager to please. We were truly sad to say goodbye to those very special people!
The accomodations are clean, modern, spacious and always smell so nice. The West End location is perfect with great shopping and restaurants just steps away. Monte and I had a blast snorkeling right outside our front door, and the sunsets are memorable. Gosh, everything is memorable about The Beach House and the wonderful people who work there. We will definitely be back!

Location. Location. Location. What a great beach hotel. Everything about this place was wonderful. The open layout of this hotel made you feel like you were on a cozy private island. Guess what. That’s exactly what this place is. It is located in the heart of west bay and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back. Btw. The swim to the boat with the swing is much further than it looks. Bring a floatie or noodle from the hotel. Trust me.
