Buena Vista Roatan

We love staying at Buena Vista. Sondra and Pedro are so accommodating and helpful, as is the staff. The grounds are very well cared for and rooms clean, modern and well-equipped. The location is also great, being on a peaceful part of the beach but only a walk to the bustle of West Bay and West End. And the views from the rooftop pool are simply stunning!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Buena Vista.  The rooms and grounds were absolutely immaculate.  And the views, absolutely stunning! Thank you to Sondra and Pedro for being such wonderful hosts.  We are already planning our return to this little piece of paradise💞

We just got back from spending an amazing 8 days in Roatan. Staying at Buena Vista contributed to this wonderful experience. Sondra and her mom, Patty were so welcoming, and any time we needed something, Sondra was there to help us out. We stayed in the 3C unit which had the most amazing views of the ocean with such breathtaking sunsets! The apartment was very clean and modern. It was so nice to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer available to us. We were there during Semana Santa (Holy Week before Easter). Others, who were staying elsewhere on the island, said that it was very noisy for them due to all of the partying late at night. We were tucked in between West Bay and West End and it was so quiet and peaceful. I was so grateful for that! Also, the staff that worked at the complex were always polite, and courteous. Marlon was especially attentive and even chopped down a coconut and cut it open for us to drink from one day when we were relaxing on the beach in front of the complex. We felt very cared for at Buena Vista. I cannot recommend it enough. Finally, I wanted to highly recommend using Rigo from Rigo's Tours, a wonderful and attentive driver, who took us around the island as needed.

Buena Vista Roatan is one of the best hotels on the island. The owners are more than amazing and work to make sure your stay is incredible. The property is gorgeous, the building itself has granite countertops, comfortable furniture and great views in each room. The pool on the rooftop palapa is an amazing place to relax with the quiet surroundings around you. Truly a great escape from reality!

I stumbled upon Buena Vista by chance and I am glad I did. We stayed a week here and are already itching to get back. Communication with Sondra was quick and effortless. She provided all details we needed for a smooth stay. The one bedroom/bath condo was brand new and came with a well stocked kitchen that provided everything we needed. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom was quiet. The massive porch was great for watching the water and enjoying a nice Roatan breeze. Being beachfront was one of the highlights of the property! The rooftop pool provided gorgeous views of the reef and absolutely stunning nightly sunsets. We dove with Clearwater Adventures which was a short 2 minute walk down the beach to their boat. Boat Bar had an amazing menu and cold brews which was less than five minutes from our condo. We are so glad to have found Buena Vista and the wonderful people that run it. We will absolutely return again!

Gorgeous resort with breath taking views right on the beach! We stayed here for my birthday and had the best time grilling out by the pool and paddle boarding in the ocean. The patios in each room boast incredible beach front views. We had a full sized kitchen complete with kitchenware and utensils. The pool is the perfect temperature and is kept extremely clean. There are even complimentary pool and beach floaties to lounge in!
This is one of my favorite places in Roatan to stay. Highly recommend.
There is no restaurant on site BUT just steps away is the best bar food restaurant on the island called, "The Boat Bar." Plus there are several other dining options within safe walking distance.
The owners Pedro and Sondra are wonderful people from Oklahoma who will make you feel like family. We love this place!

This is the best place we have stayed in roatan. The apartment is beautiful and it has everything you need to feel at home! Kitchen is fully equipped and the views on the pool deck are amazing! Sondra and Pedro are such wonderful host and they take such good care of us! We definitely will be back! Highly recommended !

Fantastic stay. Our hosts were on site and helped with household supplies and directions to attractions. The resort was clean, quiet and the beach was perfect. Beach chairs, kayaks and paddle boards there to use at no extra charge. Beach was raked daily. Couldn't have asked for it to be anymore perfect. Definitely returning!!!

I have been to Roatan 7 time and stayed with them 2 times now, preparing for my 3rd stay with them in 3 days and can comfortably say I feel this is the best value for your money on the island. The photos truly don't do the rooms or property justice they are immaculate even by American standards. Their service and attention to detail is superb and the owners always go above and beyond, even helping to facilitate our travel to other islands! It is located perfectly between West End and west bay with a 15minute walk to either or 4-5 minute water taxi. For divers a very personable and highly skilled dive shop operates just two doors down. The beach is quiet/private and the reef is much more vibrant than the busy areas. I can't wait to stay with them again!

One of the best places I have stayed at in the Caribbean and for sure the nicest on Roatan. Everything is new or near new, granite counters, full kitchens, dual sinks, big windows, new ac, and huge decks. Right on the beach with big views. Infinity edge pool 5 floors up. Owners are super cool people that fun and on top of everything. Perfect location near all but so quiet. Great dive shop next door.

Stayed here again this January. Our first time back since Covid and we were not disappointed. Pedro and Sondra are fantastic hosts with an excellent staff to make sure everything is great. We went diving with Clearwater Adventures (next dock on the beach) and had a week of great dives. A short 5 min walk West for more great 5 star dining. The rooms are all modern with everything you need. Wish we could give them 6 stars. Already booked next year.

Such a beautiful vacation rental! Rooms are very modern, clean and open with amazing ocean views. Infinity pool on the roof is a great spot to relax and you can snorkel right of the beach. Sondra and Pedro are such accommodating hosts and really go above and beyond to make your trip amazing. Highly recommend Buena Vista!

Buena Vista Roatan is a spectacular vacation rental in an unbeatable location. The Condo Units have been designed impeccably, and the on-site management has literally thought of everything. There are even fresh ice cubes in the freezer when you arrive. Sondra & Pedro are part Island Ambassadors, part Property Manager, and part Concierge always available to point you in just the right direction during your stay to make sure you have a memorable stay. We look forward to visiting again soon!

We had such an amazing time! Our family of 12 took over the whole house. Our hosts were awesome! They were very accommodating and always willing to offer suggestions. The house was conveniently located to a small little town that we did most of our gift shopping in. It was walkable or we could take a 5 minute water taxi. We had 4 young kids (10-4yrs) they also had a great time. There was a park also in walking distance where they were able to hold monkeys and macaws, they got to zip line and swim in their pool. The park also had snorkeling, but we did not have time to do it all. We can't wait to go back to Roatan and stay at Buena Vista it couldn't have suited our families needs better!
