The cave and the whole national Park is amazing! I have never seen anything like it! Absolutely loved it!

Please note that the climb from the parking lot to the cave is quite hard and steep - I recommend having extra time for getting up there! We did it in 1 hour and 15 minutes but we have hiked a lot. Totally worth the climb! Note also that it takes time to come down from here too - even more than going up! Take your time and enjoy the amazing views, with rushing you are going to hurt yourself!

Tours run from 10am-1pm and the signs say to arrive at the cave at least an hour before they close. The cost for the cave tour is 5 euros per adult, cash only. You also need to pay 10 euros per adult for park entry (can pay by card). The signs from the start of the park state the walk to the cave takes 1.5 hours, but be aware that as the park gets busier, you will be parking much further away from the start of the trail, so allow plenty of time. Quite a steep walk to the caves (570m above sea level) so I was glad I'd read other reviews saying take plenty of water. The views on the way to the caves are spectacular and the caves themselves are stunning. Some reviews say they aren't lit up enough, but in the tour they explain this is to protect the caves and the wildlife which I would much prefer. An excellent trip and a great tour.

Although not big, it offers some amazing views. It is totally worth the effort of climbing the mountain side. Tourists guide provides valuable information and are very friendly. I have visited twice already and I love it. Strongly recommend that you visit the cave if you are in the surroundings.

Impressive work of nature at almost the top of the mountain. Great place to cool off after a tough climb (at 35°C) through rough terrain at times, with lots of loose rocks along the pathway (pay attention on the way down). Get an extra layer for the underground temperature around 10°C. Pack enough water and some energy snacks. Cold mountain spring water available allong the patway. Drinks are available at the cave entrance for purchase.

This is a must see if you visit National Park Paklenica. To get to it, you'll have to walk around 40 minutes to 1 hour from the main path (depending on how fast you can walk on pretty steep path to it). The temperature in the cave is around 10 degrees Celsius all year round, so you should bring a coat with you if you go there during summer time.

Well worth the effort, a must see at Paklenica. Make sure you ask if the cave is open while you're there, opening hours etc.
The climb is set in two stages, first to get up into the valley, somewhat slippery even in dry conditions, walking boots are recommended but not required. If hot, bring enough water to sustain 3 hours walk. The second pass is trickier, watch out for loose gravel and stones, bit don't miss out watching the great scenery. When we visited the spot we set out a bit too late but managed to get in for a sneak peak. The walk from the valley is about 40 minutes, less if fit.
Dont miss out the wonderful wells and small waterfalls on your way back...

150 kilometers of walking trails and terrific climbing routes :) Go there!

Beautiful and attractive cave with huge limestone formations. One of the most attractive caves in Croatia. Tour takes about half an hour, and guide is a friendly patient guy opened for any questions.

Be careful though, cave is 500m above sea level, and you need to hike for about an hour and a half from NP Paklenica entrance, and sturdy shoes is a must have if you don't want to injure yourself!
