Croatian Language Academy

CLA have proven to be one of the best Croatian Language schools in Zagreb.

I started with them in A1 and have since progressed to B2 in under 1 year through their intensive courses. I can confidently say CLA stands above the competition in terms of their ability to foster a collaborative learning environment/practice speaking vs. simply lecturing.

The owners of CLA are also honest, kind people. They are very much open to constructive feedback, are adept at problem-solving, and continuously strive to make their school the best it can be. I highly recommend CLA!

If you want to learn Croatian, I highly recommend CLA. The breakdown of learning the language, the teachers, the class sizes… all amazing. I’m grateful to CLA for finally helping me retain, speak, and learn the language from my husband’s home country.

CLA is an amazing school! The teachers are all so kind and helpful. I have already learnt so much in such a short period of time. Shoutout to Tihana! She is the best teacher and always creates fun and energy in the classes. I have personally learnt a lot from her.😊😊

I did the Croatian Intensive Course A1 and it was incredible how much you can learn in one month. I had Jelena as a teacher and I couldn’t be happier. She is professional, cares and tries to get the best out of everyone. I met some other teachers, e.g. Slavko, on Wednesday trips (we went e.g. for a picnic, to museums and for a city tour). They are very nice and go out of their way in order for us to have a good time. We were a mixed group of 9 people and I made some good friends. I will take the next Intensive course in a month!

I am currently doing the A1 intense course for Croatian language and am very satisfied. We are a small group of ppl which makes the learning super fun and efficient. I can only speak highly of our teacher Bruna, she is very patient and with a positive attitude. I do look forward to go to class every day. I will definitely sign up for the connecting course after this one here.

Well,if you are new to Zagreb and want to learn the language,to learn something about culture/traditions of Croatia and to make some new friends,Croatian Language Academy is the way to go!
My experience till far has been the best!THE BEST!
All my life i was used with stiff,tough teachers,but thats not what happens at Sputnik.
The teachers are very patiently answering every question, polite, making little jokes for us to understand something better and always there when somebody needs help with something.
Until now i have studied with profesorica Bruna and profesor Zvonimir and i looked forward to go to course everyday(intensive course) because of the positivity and peace that i found learning from them.

So much fun to learn a language with people from around the world. Online classes are interactive on many levels, which keeps it interesting & instruction is excellent! I found the professors to be very knowledgeable & encouraging and to have an avid interest in teaching languages.

I took a course online and even though it was individual i have learned more with CLA than I did individually. Great atmosphere. I plan on continuing. I gave a 4 star rating not because anything was lacking. It was not. I almost never give 5/5. It would have to be perfect for that. That's rare. I learned a lot with CLA and had fun too.
