Small and delightful park over an archeological site. It is possible to see stone walls and information from the area spread on the park. Several benchs and gas lights. There is an interesting lonely house in the park. The fountain is currently broken.

I really love to spend time in Parks, and Park Grič in Zagreb is a really nice one! It's located right at the edge of the uptown area of Zagreb, and I would say, you can enjoy the park all year round.
Sitting on a bench or walking over to Stossmayerovo šetaliste - it is a beautiful spot to relax and spend some time there.

Lovely historical park at the top of the old city where fortifications once stood. Some of the old walls are visible and there is explanatory signage regarding the archaeological excavations.
Only a short stroll from the funicular and museum. Also a short walk to one of the tunnel entrances.

The park has assumed a lovely romantic and historic look and will no doubt become a new favourite meeting place in Zagreb. Beneath the park on the west side of the town walls, there is a large archaeology site which has been active for over a decade. Fascinating and important fragments and objects are excavated here on daily basis, among the most significant ones the remains of a three hundred year old building.

One of the most beautiful gems in Zagreb centre, definitely recommend taking a walk down strossmayer promenade and chilling for a bit in the park 😊
