Included in the Dubrovnik Day pass. Was an amazing place to walk around with its monastery artifacts on display as well as seeing the ancient pharmacy that is still running! Definitely worth a visit while in Dubrovnik, and have a beautiful centre court as well.

Beautiful ancient monastery right in the heart of the city, also contains one of the oldest pharmacies in Croatia! Lovely little garden in the centre and cool to see all the old medicine bottles!

1 of the 3 oldest pharmacies is located here. Beautiful court garden in an impressive old building. Outside you can still see the shrapnel holes in the church building originating from the 1991 Yugoslavian war...

A peaceful oasis in the centre of the old Dubrovnik walled town. (Very close to Pila gate entrance)

If you have a Dubrovnik pass , it is free , if not also very less for tickets. (Think 4 euros or so)

Beautiful paintings, artefacts and a bit of history .

Verdict: Must visit! Won't take longer than an hour and a bit to finish tour.

The church was nice but I really liked the monastery. The courtyard was really pretty and I couldn't stop taking pictures. There is a small museum inside.
The entry is 40HRK and is part of Dubrovnik card

This place has so much history, and the oldest pharmacy in history! The church is free to enter, but a fee is required to experience the museum. The museum has preserved a section with the original pharmacy run by generations of Franciscan brothers, a collection of relics, books and documents, and the actual location of where the building was attacked during the war. There's also a peaceful garden in the middle of the courtyard for you to sit and enjoy the tranquility of the place.

The Franciscan Church and Monastery is peaceful, beautiful, and there's a small pharmacy museum inside. The people who work there are more than happy to answer questions. Worth a visit if you have the Dubrovnik card, if only to get away from the crowds outside.

Old Franciscan monastery and church from 14th century. This monastery is a place of Europe's third oldest pharmacy.

The old Franciscan Monastery was originally not situated in its present day location adjacent to St Saviours Church and between the Placa and Fort Minčeta. The wars threatening the Dubrovnik Republic in the early 14th century made the Franciscans to move from the Pile area outside the city walls into the City. The construction of the Monastery began in 1317 and lasted for many years. It is nowadays considered a true jewel of Croatias cultural and artistic heritage. One 9f the must see when visiting Old Town.

Very nice inner courtyard and old pharmacy. Just right next to the busy main street and Pile gate. Free entrance with the Dubrovnik Pass.

One of the most interesting museum in Dubrovnik with the third oldest pharmacy in Europe. The monastery is proud of beautiful cloister decorated with 120 columns with different religious and mythological motoves, beautiful rosetas and an interesting collection of traditional jewelry, paintings ,old books and relics... Make sure you don't leave Dubrovnik without excellent facial creams that are made thanks to few centuries old recipes from St. Francis. Rose cream is number one if you have dry skin.

A nice, small monastery and museum. They have a great amount of written information available to read on the history of the monastery. I also want to make particular mention of the very kind man who scanned my ticket at the front. We shared some nice conversation about tennis, and he gave me some very kind words. For as beautiful of a place Dubrovnik is, it will always be the warmth of people that make a place special, and this warmth I got here was what put a big smile on my face.
