Histria

After a morning at the water park we were super hungry and thankfully Histria did not disappoint. I’ll be honest the beef carpaccio was very average. However the mixed meat grill was just fantastic. The waiter never asked how we liked our meat cooked, and it was done medium (I like medium rare). However, it was still incredibly tender and tasty. The mixed vegetables under the meat were delicious and soaked in some gravy as were the chips which were perfectly cooked. The tiramisu was also just what I needed to finish the meal. As our family doesn’t eat pork I was really happy to hear the waiter tell us he would change the mixed grill. Don’t worry he said, there will be lots of meat. And there was! The restaurant is clean and staff friendly and very polite.

Very nice place. Food was excellent, we had the gnocchi, lamb and meat platter. Service is fast and courteous. Price was more than fair.

The staff was very nice and gave us some extra local liqour to taste. The meat platter was one of the best and super value for money. The ambience of the place is also nice and offers parking space as well.

The food was very tasty, quick and kind service.
They gave us appetizer, dessert, and brandy (called Istra Zeneca😁)

The personel was most friendly. We where invited to a nice table for two persons. The staff tried to speak Dutch which was great.

The food, mussels and pork chops, where of a high standard. As a starter we both ate carpaccio which was ok. I don’t like it when it’s laying on some salade...

Specially for me the dessert came as a Dame Blanche, not on the menu but was great anyway. We even got a few schnapps on the house.

All in all a great experience which I can highly recommend!

Great restaurant with affordable prices and quality food. The staff is friendly and can make food the way you like it if you want to change something in the menu. After the meal they brought us free rakija and cookies. Highly recommend

Best restaurant in Funtana. Probably the best steak i've ever had and it also wasn't that expensive (Fiorentina steak). Really nice waitresses and great food. Also great atmosphere and reasonable prices.
