Superb service, fantastic food, and a wonderful ambience. Our party of 4 dropped in for a last minute meal so we missed out on the Peka but were happily accommodated with the most delicious, succulent tuna steaks we'd eaten. If you're looking for a unique experience in an authentic village setting, add this to your Lastovo to do list!

We had a concert on Lastovo and the organizer took us here for dinner - it's a fantastic place with amazing traditional food and extremely good red wine. The staff is also very sweet!

We came to dinner early and it was so peaceful and calm. Everything we ate was filled with taste and the octopus we had just melted in our mouths. Great place, great food, great people!

Atmospheric evening with delicious food and a lovely, friendly host. Particularly loved the rose and cherry grappa.

I love the ambient and the food is amazing, would recommend to stop by if on the island, the octopus under the bell is a must try!! Also homemade bread… perfect

We really appreciate that everything on the table comes from the farm. There is no menu.
We had local rakija, cheese and proscuitto with anise buns, stewed octopus and strudel.

Wonderful food! You have to order a day in advance. We had the octopus Peka and it was to die for. Home made bread was delicious. Friendly staff. Very laid back atmosphere. Perfect. Just a few minutes drive (paved road) and there's parking on premises.

We had “Octopus peka”. It was really tasty! Prices are reasonable especially when you see what quality food you get for it. They also have great domestic red vine and homemade bread :) everything they offer is from their farm and garden! Superb

Everything was perfect.
Staff was happy and smiling, service was fast.
You have to call and make reservation if you want to eat here.

Absolutely amazing place! Totally recommended. Famous for squid cooked in open fireplace and all kinds of meat. But as I’m vegetarian I was also offered vegetarian options. Grilled veggies, homemade cheese , tomato salad and veggie pasta. The service was great, really good wine and rakia. Best place to eat in Croatia so far ♥🌞needs to be booked in advance!

We had a nice dinner in the dinning area in the middle of nature. We were dining alone for the night, because no other reservations were made and we loved every second of it. It was quiet, private and very relaxing, it is a place like no other. If you are visiting Lastovo you have to go here with a taxi and order octupus "peka" or dishes with meat. The wine is also amazing, especially the red.
The owners are also very welcoming and communicative

A visit to the Podanje household was one of the best things we did during our stay on the Lastovo island! The nature, hospitality and quality of service clearly show that owner family wants the visit to their household to remain in your good memory forever. From welcoming entrance, through the pleasant conversation to dishes superbly prepared, every moment spent in Podanje is a stellar moment. The fire pit-braised octopuses were fantastic, hospitality was sincere and those are a great reason for anyone who appreciates a top culinary experience to visit Podanje during their stay on Lastovo island.

Rustic farm in the middle of nowhere, but has a lot of charm. Food (octopus peka- they also have lamb) was the best we had anywhere, with home grown vegetables, nice wine and an aperitif to start. We had no room for dessert, prices fair considering the amount and quality.

The best octopus on the island of Lastovo! You might not have signal on your phone when you get there, but this makes for an even better authentic experience! The food and hospitality you experience is like you are eating at your cousin's place. So beautiful. They offer you rakija at the start and really do not charge enough for the quality of food you receive..well worth the trip!

Great place with home-made "peka",food under the bell. Owner were friendly and I felt like home. Definitely recommended, they cook only what they grow. You have to give them a call and preorder.

Amazing little place! Everything is homemade and homegrown, and I mean everything. From the olive oil to the wine.

One of the best meals of the trip! Farm to table experience, the owners grow all the ingredients and make their own wine which btw was delicious. You need to call and reserve, you will be asked if you prefer: fish or meat.
We didn't have any issues finding the place. Due to covid times we had the place to ourselves, very authentic and intimate dinner.

Excellent food, big portions, family atmosphere, a small playground for the kids nearby - family friendly. Service is quick, although I called and ordered in advance. The prices are reasonable. The only thing is that they changed the price for a dish in 1 day, we asked for the price - came the next day and were billed more. Still.. I would recommend to anyone to come here.

Been there with my wife, our 1.5 old boy and a dog. Food was fantastic, atmosphere even better, wine is the best house wine on island. Prices are reasonable, vegetables, meet, wine l, bread home made... will come again
