Chiavalon Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Our guide gave us a mini olive oil tasting session. It was an incredibly interesting experience. The quality of the olive oil is unbelievable. We had seven types of oil and fresh tomato juice. There is a beautiful outside area, next to the olive oil garden.
There is also a shop on the territory, selling olive oil (of course!), a range of jams, fig cakes, organic tomato juice, gift boxes and many more.
Overall, great experience! Totally in love with the brand now.

Great idea for a one day trip! The place is super nice with a nice scenery. You can do a short degustation of olive oil they produce for free, but also they offer two types of guided tours (you can find prices on their website I think). It’s a very interesting story on how olive oil is made and you can learn something new. Definitely worth paying a visit! P.S. olive oil is super tasty so you should buy one (or all) bottles to try!

We are a family of five members, and it's not always easy to visit such astonishing places with two younger children (eight and ten years old). The Chiavalon Extra Virgin Olive Oil Business topped our expectations. First of all, the location is beautiful. There is a large garden, olive trees everywhere, and overall, the factory is quite aesthetically pleasing (modern and simple). The tour of the olive oil production was very pleasurable and engaging. We are from Germany, and our daughter is the only one speaking English. However, the team managed everything perfectly! Every production process was directly translated to us, and both co-workers, who gave us the tour, worked flawlessly together. There was a wonderful dynamic and atmosphere, and both of them made our day more enjoyable!
The olive oils themselves were, and still are, of extraordinary quality! The tasting really opened our minds, and the oils were indeed delicious. Every one of them has its own characteristics and would be helpful in the kitchen.
Our trip to Chiavalon Extra Virgin Olive Oil was absolutely awesome, and we recommend that place for sure! 100 out of 5 stars! :D

In July we visited Chiavalon with our families and what can I say.. we got an amazing tour and olive oil tasting. If you’re looking for a place to do so, search no further. Bosco was beyond great, he shared his expertise in olive oil with us and we learned a lot. Besides the tour and the tasting their products are really excellent so of course we brought a few bottles with us home and til today we think about this great experience everytime we use their products at home.

I am so grateful i stumbled across Chiavalon when preparing for my trip to Istria. Chiavalon ruined all other olive oils for me by showing me how incredible the harvesting, production, and taste really is when you buy something fresh. I would recommend this experience to anyone (they even have a kids corner) and if you are in the area - it’s really a must see. The site opened last year and it’s beautiful. Also, Boško was our guide and he rocks!!! He made the already amazing experience even better ✊🏻. COME SEE FOR YOURSELF!!

A unique experience in tasting various olive oils, lots of good fun with the kind owner and dedicated staff member Mr. Bosko. It is worth investing time and to visit this amazing facility. Great things to remember and exquisite oil to buy.

The grand tour experience was AMAZING. Bosko is so passionate about informing and educating people on authentic olive oil production. We left with so much knowledge (and olive oils and jams) and can’t wait to share this knowledge with friends and family back home. Thank you to the team - now we leave as olive oil connoisseurs! 😬

This was a great experience. Even though we couldn’t make it to the guided tour, the free tasting walk around was very informative and pleasant. We bought some great olive oil and we specifically knew why and how it would will actually taste 😀 highly recommended for the ones who want to try something new.

We did the“Taste Istria” tour with the very personable and entertaining Boško. As promised, we left there with an appreciation of how good quality olive oil is produced and armed with the knowledge on how to pick quality olive oil. A tour definitely worth doing especially with the delightful and knowledgeable Boško. Love it.

Amazing shop. The passion with which the people treat you as a customer, the outstanding quality of the olive oil and the insight in the production make this place one of the best to get local olive oil.
On top of that, it's organic.

We had an absolutely fantastic time today. Our guide/host was Ivana who I would like to thank for being so patient with us (we had two very noisy and at times disruptive young girls with us). My wife and I learned a great deal about olive oil, how to look out for the real deal, how to store and cook with it. A real surprise was your shop and the heavenly jams and honey! Also thanks for the free cherry picking and eating at the end. What a bonus. Adults and children loved it and I highly recommend a visit to anyone, single, couples or family.

The visit to Chiavalon estate was one of the highlights of our trip to Istria.
We booked a tour of the estate unsure what to expect of olive oil tasting and by the end of the tour we were blown away by everything we've heard, seen and tasted.
Bosko is an amazing storyteller and a tour guide who went above and beyond to enrich our experience of the estate.

Prize winner worldwide olive oil annual contest. Price per liter 40 euro. Pretty steep but worth it.

I have attended Chiavalon shop during our summer vacation and was lucky to have tasting conducted by the owner. It wasn’t a first or second tasting of olive oil in my life but it was outstanding and for sure the best of the best. So passionate, professional in a perfect level of English and all explained in simple words - my daughter enjoined as well. Highly recommend 🙂

I attended an olive oil tasting at Chiavalon, and it was amazing. They shared about the olive trees and how they care for them that supports organic farming. Then they walked us through the production process and their state-of-the-art facilities and equipment. It was very informative and well timed (long enough to share the information but not exhaustive). And then the best part. The olive oil tasting. We tasted all their oils, including an exclusive, limited edition oil. But first, it was explained how to taste the oil, and how to check for if it is a true, cold pressed, EVOO. That was amazing (I won't tell you and spoil it for you). And then after the tastings, they brought out a charcuterie board and bread, and wine from a neighbouring vineyard to continue to play with their oils with different food. I can't recommend this enough. It was a wonderful and unique experience. Thank you Chiavalon for a memorable tasting and sharing your passion for your work and product.

We had a perfect afternoon at Chiavalon Plantation. The hospitality of Ted (the owner) and Bozko were so beautiful and authentic! Olive oil tasting and excellent BABOS Brut spoiled our taste buds! Our dog Joker had also great time in the beautiful garden and he even found some ball ⚽😅 We will come back very soon. Thank you so much Ted for making our day 💚

Although we came on a Sunday they still gave us a quick tour and a thorough olive oil tasting. Great variety and delicious. We got 3 different types of EVOO as well as an organic tomato sauce.
