Best octopus ever!! I truly recommend this restaurant as food is delicious. Best food we've tried in Istria with perfect service and hospitality. Definitely worth to visit!

We had a very good octopus prepared in the traditional way. It's better to preorder a day before if you want something special.

We just bumped into this wonderful gem accidentally but this was by far the best restaurant in Istria if you are looking for fresh seafood. You won’t be disappointed. The staff is very nice and helpful, we were here with our four children, they enjoyed it as well.

The food is very tasty and the portion are very big… about the staff, they are ofering free drinks for the kind people and are welkoming and they are makeing you feel like home, you can taste fish and sea food dishes as you never experienced ! We recomended the veal under the ash and the octopus under the ash!!! 5* out of 5*

If you want to try local cuisine, it’s the place to go. The atmosphere and service is great as well. All the best to the owner and people who help!

Food was very good. The service was extremely pleasant and most clearly enjoy their jobs, ensuring that guests have a positive dining experience.
Whether or not is it typical cuisine for the region is not for us tourists to judge, I’ll leave that to the experts; the locals.
Nevertheless, we all enjoyed our meals. Our children (6, 6 and 2) were mesmerised by the tortoise (pet, not dish).
Would recommend it for a family meal. Only improvement tip would be for the waiters to read back the orders to the guests to avoid any errors.
By the way, I like the fact that there was no tourist kids menu of chicken nuggets! A welcome change.

Very nice people and very very good food ! The restaurant is amazing, built in croatian style! The prices are very good according to me and to the quality of the food! Everything fresh and delicious!

Really friendly service! Although it’s been such a busy and hot night they kept on a smile, shared a laugh while ordering food, suggested the vegetarian zucchini risotto (10/10!!) and delivered really good food. Especially the risotto and fish are to recommend.

After some terrible dinners in Pula we found a perfect spot in Lizjan. Food is amazing, fish is fresh and delicious!
The restaurant has an outdoor courtyard which is special and will make your dinner unforgettable.
The staff is so kind, hands up for Rado, and everything is perfectly on point!
Five stars for Arnel who is the best owner in town!

Visiting from Colorado with friends from Sweden and Barbados. We came in with a party of 18. Food was excellent. Grilled octopus is great. I had the grilled tuna and it was one of the best pieces of tuna I’ve ever had. Service was solid and we really enjoyed the local wine. I’d highly recommend Konoba Galiola.
