Church of St. Stephen

Beautiful church with great tower just beside the church.
You can visit tower for only 4€ per person.
The view from top of the tower is amazing and it's worth to visit.

Located at the tip top of Motovun, getting to this church is a relief. From the square in front of the church seemingly all points of the compass lead to spectacular views of the Istrian landscape.
The church itself, with it's simple facade, conceals a cool and attractive interior with frescoes on the ceiling and not overly ornate fixtures.
Motovun is a beautiful town and this is the cherry on top.

What Ana amazing church! Not just inside and outside but also the priest who cares for the property is one of the best people I've met. My wife and I accidentally landed our drone on top of the church. No damage but just very difficult to get down. The priest of the church called everybody he could to try to rescue the drone. Within a few days 2 men from Zip Line Pazen came with ladders and climbing equipment and safely secured our drone! So sorry again for the inconvinience. We love this church, the city, and the people of Motovun. Honestly one of the best places on Earth. God bless!

Wnętrze ciszy i skupienia, skromne, bez przepychu dla chwili medytacji, duchowej kontemplacji. Idealnie uzupełnia się z klimatem całego miasta. Warto zajrzeć do środka.

Fenomenalne miejsce osada na szczycie góry. Mieliśmy okazję zobaczyć zachód słońca i zwiewać przed kolosalną burzą. Jeśli znacie moje opinie to dobrze wiecie że kościoły mnie nie kręcą. Ale ten kościół ma interesującą wieżę, która góruje nad miastem i widać ją z daleka. Ale i tak najlepsze są tu romantyczne knajpki. Na końcu krętej drogi są niebieskie miejsca do parkowania, pamiętaj zapłać za parkowanie. Parkomat jest na gorze - trzeba wyskoczyć z 15 kun ale nie trzeba wracać z biletem do samochodu bo wpisujesz numer rejestracji i to wystarczy. Koniecznie tu przyjedź z aparatem.

Crkva je zatvorena, ali moguće je popesti se na toranj s kojeg se pruža lijepi pogled.
Upozorenje: uspon je po izrazito strmim stepenicama, na mjestima treba preskočiti razmak i pomoći si rukama. Nije za osobe slabije kondicije i djecu.

Sehr schöne Kirche in Motovun, eine kleine Stadt die erhaben auf einem Hügel liegt. Man kann auch, gegen Eintritt 20 Kuna / Erw. auf den Kirchturm kraxeln und ist somit auf dem höchsten Punkt der Umgebung.
Die Kirche hat ein schönes Deckengemälde, der Altar hat ein eigenes Spiel des Sonnenlichts und der teilweise vergoldeten Decke über den Altar.

Moguće je popesti se na vrh, karta 20 kn. Sam uspon nije lagan i ne bih preporučio svakome.

Todos os edifícios desta cidadezinha são encantadores... está igreja é linda na sua simplicidade... o conjunto é extremamente harmônico... o redor da igreja é cheio de pequenos restaurantes e bares...
