The best bakery in Baška, excellent breakfast spot! don’t bother to try any other. Regularly has hot fresh bread straight from the oven throughout the day. The blonde lady is very friendly and gives excellent recommendations 😀

The best spot to start the morning. The bread rolls are fresh and delicious. Burek is amazing, the sweet pastries are marvelous. Definitely a good spot for buying breakfast!

Very good prices, good food and incredibly friendly vendors. We went there 2 times and each time we were very well served and treated! The taste of the food is very good 👍 we bought pizza, burek, slanac and bread. All tasted very 👍 highly recommended

The whole story:
The woman did not give me a receipt and after 5 minutes as I realized she overcharged me I came back to find out how much I should have paid she suddenly forgot all the English and lied saying she gave the right change. She was speaking in Croatian to people in the shop probably denying what I was saying. But I did not leave and I insisted to discuss.

Basically she charged me 9.7 euros for 4 bakery products that only cost 6.3 euros. When I confronted her she gave me a receipt that was also 1 euro too much (I just didn’t bother to point that out anymore as by that time it was clear to me that overcharging - aka stealing from tourists who come to spend the money in their village - is regular business in this place).

The woman continued to refuse to give me back what she overcharged and showed me they had a camera installed.

I was happy they had a camera and asked for the footage and then a man came from the back and gave me the difference 2.4 euros) but without even saying they are sorry for their mistake.

It’s a pitty these things happen and I am in shock as I never in my life went through something like this, I never had to write such a review. I am one of those easy going people who appreciate people and their efforts. I always say please and thank you.

But being treated like this just left me a super bitter taste.

Better try another one. I bought 2 different donuts and 2 different buns. I'd never eat this type of quality. They all were dry and dense. Disgusting! No card payments also.
