Avant Car - Car rental Split downtown

We hadn’t planned to hire a car this year but soon realised we were going to need one. Avantcar were selected by our online agent and they were excellent. Good and helpful staff. We even decided to extend the hire a day which was easily done over email. Very affordable. About €250 for four days in a brand new VW large enough for five. Recommended.

Great company, was verry attentive to us, gave great advice on dropp off as we did it in Airport as well as let us take car bit earlyer, was very pleasant to talk to and very fast in processing all needed documents, explained all. Car was great pretty new.

Truly this was the best car rental experience I have ever had! This company gives you exactly what you need all-included, with no "gotchas." We rented a small (brand new!) car for a week, going from Split to Korčula, and returning in Dubrovnik. Costs were straightforward and we appreciated that they are tailored to travel in Croatia, including coverage for travel to the islands, which some companies exclude.

Ema in Split and Christian in Dubrovnik were super-helpful, and pickup and return was very easy. Highly recommended.

Had a great experience hiring from Avant. The guys were very friendly when we picked up the car and were very professional in their explanation of everything. Ivan in particular was a massive help when we had trouble returning on time due to an accident on the road. He gave great instructions on where to leave the car and was quick to respond to calls and messages.

Everything went really well, I had a new Fiat Panda for about 4 days. Check in and check out was very uncomplicated and the prices moderate and fair. It’s a serious company that I fully recommend.

One of the finest experiences I have ever had whilst renting cars. Zvonimir worked and he was just amazing. He explained us everything perfectly and we didn't have any issue at all. The car was amazing aswell, it still had the smell of a brand new car. I honestly have nothing but the kindest words for Zvonimir and the company itself. If you really need a car I highly recommend you use Avantcar!

Overall everything was smooth and take/return process was quick and transparent.

Rented a car on Aug 16, 2021. It was the peak of the tourist season and the price was about 200 euro/day for a small car but it was the only place that had an available car. On the day of the pick-up we were upgraded to a bigger car for no additional charge. Please note that it took about 2 weeks till the deposit amount was unlocked.

Great staff… super friendly, very good rates and service with excellent conditions! Had some issues with returning car earlier but this was quickly resolved by the team. So far best Rent-A-Car experience in Split!
