Familija Restaurant

This place is storybook beautiful!! It's right on the Žrnovica River and out couldn't be more beautiful. We walked the entire river trail from the beach, less than 3 miles, and ended up at Familija. We got cappuccino and dessert and loved every minute of this perfect place. I got crepes and they were delish. The sounds of the river were priceless. An absolute of in Split.

Very nice, brand new and “classy” place. It’s worth visiting for tasty food and very interesting surrounding. Trees are lighten with some lamps, so it’s nice to visit it by night. But as far as I understood there are many concerts during weekend so it’s good idea to call early and ask if it will be possible to eat in silence (or if you like - with music and noise)

Exceptional. A local taxi driver recommended Familija and it was some of the best food we've had near Split. Portions are very generous; the "Meat Platter for 2" easily fed 4 of us and had a huge variety of meats and flavors.

They do have an English menu, make sure to ask for it of they give you the Croatian menu by default. Great staff, everyone we spoke to spoke English well. Decent wine and beer selection. We're coming back tomorrow for the Peka lamb and veal

This place is - HEAVEN located five minutes away from city center. Waterfalls, birds singing, quality food and musical evenings… don’t forget to bring your family. :)

Some very special place just by the river...Great atmosphere for families but the best for couples...very good food and decent wine list...

Excellent location of the restaurant by the river itself, the ambiance and location are simply perfect. The staff as well as the food are outstanding and at a very high level. Pizza Cardinale is simply perfect, for every recommendation.

Beautiful setting. The outdoor seating area is bordered by colourful flowers and trees, and on all sides by water. Food is also good. Quite a find.
