Amazing place. Owners were both lovely, the garden and the dining experience were fantastic. Some of the best fish I've ever had and all the vegetables, wine and spirit were super fresh and tasted amazing. Try the prosciutto and cheese as a starter!

Incredible food, every time. I've been going here with my family for 10 years. Vatren and Chiara, a husband and wife team, use ingredients from their own organic gardens to make the food, liquor and wine. The quality is top-notch. Highly recommend to make a reservation! The restaurant is very easy to find. When you drive through Janjina, there is a kiosk across from the only cafe. Turn downhill and you will see the terrace engrave 30 meters on the right across from "Plankton".

As they say themselves, it's not a restaurant, it's much better! There's no menu, it's only whatever fish they have fresh on the day plus their home grown veg, fruit and homemade olive oil, wine, rakjia, etc. We loved it so much that went back twice. Chiara and Vatren are super friendly. It was the highlight of our trip! Grazie mille and Hvala!

Haven't actually eaten anything but got drunk with the owner instead. I haven't met such an interesting individual in a long time, and it was unbelievably fun to be there. The place itself is mesmerising, creative, pleasant, homey, relaxing. A local hidden vintage gem.

I’ve been going to Croatia for the last 20 years and this couple gave me one of the best food/wine experiences ever!! Beautiful people who open their hearts and kitchen to put great fresh local products on the table in their amazing garden. Their own wine, olive oil, rakija, vegetables...... I can’t say how much we enjoyed ourselves there, so good we went twice in a few days...... I’ll go back next time we are on the beautiful Peljesač peninsula!!! Xx

If you looking for a real local atmosphere and healthy, domestic food and vine (fresh fish, vegetables) this is perfect place. Great value for money! Don't forget to make a reservation.

Our favorite place for a meal or a drink in Dalmatia - we visit multiple times every summer. Vatran and Chiara (and their wonderful Dalmatian dogs) are delightful hosts. The veg is homegrown, the atmosphere is charmingly authentic (without trying to be), and the fish and shells are grilled to perfection. They also make their own olive oil, wine, and a wide selection of brandy (rakija) - almond, fig, and orange blossom are a few of our favorites. For dinner, its best to make a reservation at least 24 hours in advance (they also only work seasonally - July/August).
