Uvala Veli Dolac

It is a truly gem on the coast of this island. Most of the visitors arrive there by boat but there is also a narrow road to this place. We went there by our scooter and it is so peaceful and relaxed at this place. The fish is caught directly out of the sea and fresh made in the large oven outside where you can look at it. Not too expensive.

This is for us the best restaurant in whole island Hvar. We were in a lot of restaurants but here is the best octopus that we ate and also lamb . I really recommended it. Stuff is very helpful and nice.. For octopus and lamb u must preorder at lease 2 hours earlier that they slowly cook it under the fire🙂 it really is something special. Fish are bought from lical fisherman and they are fresh. And i also loved there desserts its always so fresh and homemade. U wont be sorry i really love this place and also i almost forgot vbut the view is absoulutly spectacular amazing ...you will see in pictures

Outstanding location, cascade terraces allow for amazing views. Drinks are ample and Aperol spritz here rocks. The hosts also offer sunbeds and SUP at the premises. Food is local (we have not tried it this year, but in previous years we were quite pleased).

Amazing place with the most beautiful scenery you can wish for. The sunbeds are comfy, the beer is cheap and the food is incredible. Staff is really friendly and the place is in a secluded area, you'll find peace like never before

This restaurant was recommended by our guide and is amazing✨. We had peka with lamb which we ate with an incredible view of the sea and sunset. If you plan on going book early to give them time to prepare the peka.

Fantastic and authentic Konoba. We had a great evening with excellent food and very friendly service. Buoy for the boat had to be payed separately but price was OK.

Excellent and lovely spot! It is not that crowded and you can get original peka (takes 2 hours to prepare) and stay there the whole day. It is one of our favorite spots on Hvar.

If the view doesn't impress, with swimming an option between courses, turquoise views, fresh fish, capable service, beer drinking butterflies and the sweet smell of a wood fired oven, you might not enjoy this place.

If your boat is on anchor here overnight, you only have this option for food. That being said, the octopus peka was amazing, and staff was friendly.

A MUST STOP!! The views are only overdone by the service and food!! The Octopus Peka is to die for, freah breads, and delectable wine + spirits!! You cannot go wrong with visiting here!!

Note - the Peka is incredibly filling!! Don't feel the need to over order!!

Amazing place! The way is a bit adventurous through a dirt road but for sure with the trip. The Peka with octopus is sooo delicious! It takes two hours to be prepared. In this time you can enjoy the beautiful bay and swim, it’s the perfect spot! Very friendly staff!
