Heritage Hotel Dea Hvar

Absolutely amazing hotel. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I think it's a family-run hotel given the great attention I've noticed towards the customer. We had a small initial setback but the staff proved to be really helpful and professional. Breakfast was lovely with lots of little extras above a normal buffet. The guy at the reception recommended us where to go during our stay. The hotel is very clean and there is a high attention to every detail. Hvar itself is lovely. Highly recommend.

We only had 1 night at Heritage Hotel Dea Hvar, but we really loved it there. It was comfortable and beautiful. What truly stood out for us, was the kindness from our two receptionists (who were brothers). They really took care of us, were so kind and helpful. We also really enjoyed our breakfast here! It was very helpful to have luggage storage so we could enjoy the day without our heavy bags before our ferry left that evening. Overall, it was a lovely experience!

My husband and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon. The accommodation was close many restaurants and activities. The hosts were friendly, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. I also like that it is a family run business and brings that personal charm. Breakfast was included and delicious (I liked the salty pancake). There are stairs associated with the accommodation but that is just part of staying in Hvar and the guys who run the hotel will meet you at the ferry and carry your bags up if you need that. They also run a delicious taco place around the corner. Would definitely recommend the hotel and associated businesses.

If you want to experience the best place to rest after having fun in Hvar - this is the place!!! Located in the center, just 1 minute walk from where all the action is, and still we did not experience any noise in the room. Rooms are comfy, peaceful and the whole hotel smells so nice and clean. Fresh breakfast, amazing quality of coffee and great selection of different tea is a very rare nowdays. Really enjoyed the ambience during breakfast- intimate with a nice summer breeze.

And the staff is so friendly and helpful that they alone deserve a special 5 star review!

Ideal for guests coming by boat! Short walk from the harbour and the staff will help carry your luggage if you ask them.

This was an amazing hotel and experience. Right in the port, amazing service and breakfast, and very clean. The rooms had AC, minibar, and tea maker. Beautifully decorated. Ivan at the desk was most helpful and kind. Highly recommend and would certainly stay here again.

Hotel accommodations are perfect with AC, nice bathrooms, large closets, smart TVs, water stations in the lobby and third floor. But what sets this place apart is the service. The hotel staff goes out of their way to make sure you aren’t just comfortable in the hotel, but in the city in general. They knew all the best restaurants, beaches, activities and helped us with each.

We stayed at quite a few hotels so far on our honeymoon, many 5-star, and this was by far our favorite. This is a family-run hotel with so much charm. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. My husband and I loved the efficiency of the rooms. While our room wasn’t large, it had so many amazing details. The shampoo/conditioners/soaps were well-supplied and great, the robes and slippers we loved, the shower and water pressure was fantastic. The breakfast was incredible and it’s included! It’s a 3 minute walk from the ferry drop off which was extremely convenient. 3 minute walk from some of the best restaurants and shops. 5 minutes from rental places for scooters/ATVs. Would stay here again and again, absolutely loved it.

The location is perfect and the room is beautiful. We had a window overlooking the marina. Waking up to that is incomparable. Breakfast was delicious. The banana cake is totally recommended.

I must add that the staff is absolutely amazing, always attentive and kind. We felt like home away from home and I’m not making this up just for a quick review, I really mean it.

All of my friends now know about the hotel and the new friends we have in Hvar. Marin, Ivan and Luka, you guys are the best!

And when in Hvar check out “Let’s taco about Hvar” bar, great food and a chill ambience managed by nothing but the best in town!

We experienced wonderful service in this fine, well located hotel. .

Breakfast was great. It was part buffet plus eggs, pancakes, coffee, etc. served to your liking in a pleasant location.

It is about three levels of stairs up from the ferry area, or there is a longer path with almost no stairs beginning further towards the main square. The location is quiet and has a nice sea breeze.

Great stay, best shower we've had in Croatia, nicest breakfast and super friendly little team running the show. Truly a boutique hotel experience especially the bag carrying down to the ferry!

I’d give 4.5 stars if I could. The service was so amazing! Everyone was so helpful and made us feel so welcome. The breakfast was delicious and the room comfortable. The reason I would knock off half a star is for for cleanliness. It did not live up to our American expectations, but nothing was so bad that it detracted from our experience.

Great location in town, but lots of stairs to get there. The staff was great and met us at the ferry and ran up the stairs with our suitcase (also running our cases back down to get another ferry).

One of the best hospitality experiences in Croatia. The biggest value of the hotel is its people, the most welcoming and helpful ever! Breakfast was amazing, diverse and delicious. Rooms are clean and supplied with all you need. Location is great, close to ferry port and night life of the town. We loved staying in this hotel. Totally recommend!

I just have one word, amazing. The room is very clean and nice with a very nice bathroom, but that is not the main reason to book here. The staff was absolutely the most accommodating staff I've ever had. Any time we needed anything in the room there was a knock 2 minutes later. Matt also drove us everywhere we needed to go at a great price... The food was also sooo tasty!

Best hotel experience I've ever had!

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Heritage Hotel Dea Hvar. The hosts of the hotel were nice and very accommodating. We arrived late the previous day and didn’t manage to enjoy a lot of the town upon arrival. They offered us to check out 2 hours later than usual so that we can get a bit more of the town and the beach in the morning. The breakfast was really good with a lot of continental options plus freshly made eggs and pancakes as you order. Great facility too, everything very new and clean. We’d like to recommend to everyone who is planning their trip to Hvar.

This is a four star hotel in the old town of Hvar but what makes it 5 star is the staff. Marin is so accommodating and helpful while Mate makes delicious breakfast dishes every morning. This hotel is accessed via stairs to reach the hotel and once inside the hotel. No elevator but you book this hotel for the location and the local flare. Don't worry about the stairs, Marin will help you with all your luggage. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Desk, tea/instant coffee in the room, international plugs provided, modern bathroom with robes in the closet. Closet space and a small fridge in the room. Outlets conveniently located near the bed and thru the room. Hair dryer and good quality toiletries provided. Free WIFI. Smaller than normal safety deposit box so that is the only improvement I suggest to the property.
Breakfast available but that is the only meal served at this hotel. Head out for lunch and dinner to nearby restaurants, you didn't come to Hvar to hang out in your room. City map available at the front desk. Thank you Marin you are awesome!!!

Stay here! This is the best value hotel with the ultimate service. Rooms are comfortable, bathrooms smart, the service from the hotel team is second to none and the breakfast is excellent.

I cant fault anything about this place and will absolutely be coming again.

Incredible stay. The hotel is perfectly located - central to everything in Hvar. The staff goes above and beyond for their guests - we have never in all our travels seen harder working staff. The breakfast each morning was fantastic. We highly recommend!

Well i dont know from where to start..
This 4* Heritage hotel is true gem in heart of old town. Not only its a luxury place to stay with history, 20m from all cozy small Hvar streets full of restorants, bars & shops (but in a silent back street), when you open windows and in front of hotel you can smell lemon,orange and jasmin beautiful..
Owner welcomed us at entrance and showed all what we wanted to see, explained about small islands around Hvar and hidden beaches. Also we get recomendation for few good restorants and bars.
We are coming back to Hvar for sure and this will be place ti stay. Breakfast was tasty and with healthy options
