Diving Center Aqualis Hvar

One of the best dive centres I have been to in the world! Everyone is super nice from the manager to the instructors to the Queen of the bar.
Caribbean chill vibes, you get back from your dive to a cold coffee, beer or cocktail at their own bar.
The diving is great, professional, good equipment, wide range of dives. Scorpion fish, morays, lobster, caves and an stunning swim through pillar to 30m called poseidon. Two boats: rib and larger metal one.
Big shout out to Siggy and Bart for the scorpion fish and nudibranch spotting and excellent instruction.

We had such a wonderful experience! The instructors were very informative and patient with us as we learned scuba diving techniques for the first time. I was nervous and struggling so my instructor assigned to me had us take a brief break to relax and encouraged me to give it another try. I’m grateful for that because I was successful the 2nd try. I enjoyed the underwater views and would highly recommend them to anyone! They will make you feel like family!!

Aqualis is staffed with an incredible team passionate about what they do. The dive shop/beach bar setup in the cove is absolutely perfect. Accessible bathrooms, local wine, and professional staff and gear- what more could you ask for in a dive shop? We enjoyed our dive with Bobby. The Adriatic Sea offers clear, bright blue water and interesting ocean topography, but don’t expect large sea creatures like the Caribbean or Hawaii. Go in with an open mind and enjoy the beautiful dive, then relax on the terrace when you get back! The whole dive team is so kind and accommodating, I warmly recommend them to anyone in Hvar interested in getting dive certified or for those already certified looking for a local dive.

First time ever scuba diving, and it was very exciting! Our instructor taught us general safety and showed us our equipment before we went into the water. He made sure we were comfortable with our suits and equipment.

When we went into the water, we learned basic breathing with the air underwater. Then he showed us signals and what to do in certain situations.

Finally, we dived under water, and he made sure we were ready before swimming outwards. When we started swimming further at around 7 meters deep, I had a small panic moment where I got salt water in my nose because I inhaled and exhaled too fast. The instructor helped me calm down, and we continued swimming underwater.

Incredible experience to be underwater. It was very calming even though I panicked. 😅

We had a great experience with Aqualis. My sons and I got our Open Water certification with them. They are very professional and extremely patient. The equipment is very good, wetsuits look new. The teachers come from various countries and all are super friendly. Janet is the best at accommodating everyone with anything from organizing transfers from the town to getting snack platters ready between dives.
The cute little cove where they are is shallow enough for training and there are plenty of cool diving spots a boat ride away. Thank you Janet Michele Chico Bobby Tim and Captain Robert.

The most kind and welcoming people who work here! We had very good quality cocktails at the bar with this beautiful view over the bay. Sunset was so pretty!
Very laidback and relaxed atmosphere.

OMG .I don't know how to start! All staff is amazing ,they enjoy their job and they transmit their passion to all clients.
It was my first time diving.I did a baptism and I loved it.They explain me everything and I never stay alone underwater.
My boyfriend dives and he's really happy with inmersions (day and night ).Perfect visibility and animals too.Great and care equipment.

Great place to dive, Marco helped us refreshing the basics and we went for two dives.
Healthy level of professionalism and chill vibe which is always appreciated when doing something that's a bit out of your comfort zone!

Nice place! We completely the SSI open water course here. Thorough teaching with instructor’s patience makes us improve a lot. The underwater scenery is wonderful, orchin, octopus, sponge, they are all cute. Highly recommended.

Loved it! I went there because my friends wanted to renew their licence and was not expecting to go diving. I'm planning on getting my diving licence next year, but they offered to take me with an instructor just so I could see if It would be something I like before committing to it fully. The instructors were really friendly and I felt completely safe throughout the whole experience. Everyone there were immediately ready to answer any questions we had and overall the atmosphere in this place is just amazing!

The best school in Croatia!!! I loved this place when I arrived! You are all the time next to the sea! All the staff are super nice, friendly and funny. I loved the time that we spend together. Robert is a really experienced diver and he makes the dive really funny and interesting.
He was showing me a lot of things and always whit a smile. This is really important for me. After the dive you can talk about all that you saw whilst drinking a beer or cocktail in the bar of the school. Zsanett will make you drink and she play really good music. I m super excited to return one more time! ☺

This was a bday present for my boyfriend and I couldnt make a better choice! Great and fun experience, professional and friendly support, he felt safe and guided. Also the bar has a very nice vibe! Highly recommended, you will be in very good hands :)

An excellent time with an experienced team! It had been awhile since I dived (about 2 years) and the check dive was the perfect refresher. It was also my partner’s first time diving, and the operation accommodated us so that we were able to spend some time underwater together. Love the energy and enthusiasm of the team and the overall vibe is relaxed yet seasoned. Highly recommend!

I visited here for my girlfriend's birthday. She's OW certified, and I tried diving for the first time here. The team made sure to cater to our different levels of experience, and I couldn't have gone to a better place to try diving. Very welcoming and professional team. On the introductory session, our instructor Marko explained everything in great detail, making sure we're safe to dive. The boat dive took us to a beautiful location, and we both had a great time.
Their cocktails are a must try as well!

One of THE best diving experiences I have experienced ever! I finished my open water advanced with Aqualis last night, and honestly can't praise owners Zsanett and Robert enough. The are HUGELY professional and fantastic, welcoming and friendly hosts. It's also comforting today that one of them is a diving specialty medical doctor.
I had two different instructors through my course, both Michele and Chico were patient and thorough.
Whilst there is not too much wildlife in the adriatique, the visibility and landscape is fantastic.
If I return to Hvar, I wouldn't think twice about revisiting Aqualis. The grilled corn and cold beer on the house to finish was a great finishing touch!!!
