Great place to dine in. Great, rustic ambient. Literally placed inside an old water mill. Great terrace. Great food, almost everything is home made or grown. Very pleasant and outgoing owner. Some of the staff can be little bit annoyed or worse, vain. But there are legitimately great guys serving there. Cooks are also great, hence the great food. It could be crowded on peak hours on Saturdays and Sundays but it's definitely worth the wait. Prices are fair and portions are huge. Wine is great, home made liquor is also great. Would definitely visit it once again but with reservation!

This was the best restaurant I had been to in Croatia. Excellent cuisine and drinks, homemade dumplings, the meat and fish had an ecological origin, the staff was very friendly. Prices correspond to quality. Finally this was the only place in Croatia in which we were welcome from the deep of heart. We liked our experience very much. Certainly worth visiting next time ;-)

Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant today!
While visiting Zagreb and it's surroundings we stumbled upon this enchanting place. The staff was nothing short of amazing, found us a table and gave great advice on the food which was delicious. I had the venison goulash and I almost cried of joy and the starter platter of local cheeses and cold cut was incredible.
I recommend this place 100%!!!

From now on that is our favourite restaurant in Zagreb. The menu is big, there is a variety of delicious Croatian dishes. Staff is hospitable, friendly, and professional (thank you gentlemen, that was a pleasure meeting you!). The atmosphere is warm, decorations are beautiful. The place is a 450 years old mill. The outside terrace near the spring is amazing!

Beautiful, charming restaurant nested in the woods with a beautiful 500 old mill. Great food, great service but the ambience is spectacular. All furniture is a real stump furniture, available both outside and inside seating (feels like you are in a tree house). If you visit Zagreb and go eat there, you won't regret. Prices are VERY reasonable too.

Everything was perfect. Service is nice and friendly, typical local cuisine is available and definitely worth to try.
Wine offer is also good.
The restaurant has a nice wintergarden to sit,also nice location for family gathering or special events.
Reservation is recommended.

Wow. Simply wow. They food was outstanding. I loved the local lignje. Our waiter was extra friendly even showing us a magic tricks. We had an incredible experience here and i strongly recommend this restaurant to all.

Green oasis on the edge of Gajnice. Beautiful, quiet place with a little stream ,that once powered the mill, is flowing behind the main building right through the outside backyard (terrace). Food tastes much better with the murmur of water... On the menu is local, homemade, well prepared, tasty food. The only complaint is not being asked how should they prepare beefsteak, so i got almost well done but nonetheless it was very tasty.

Great food, home made bread and acceptable prices.
This is a lovely restaurant with a beautiful terrace under the trees by a small creek. The staff is very friendly and usually quick on their feet. The food has a homemade feel to it which I really love. There is a parking in front, so usually no trouble with finding a place for your car. All in all a recommendation is in order.

The best restaurant in town! Unbelievable interior, unbelievable service, unbelievable food. Prices are a little bit higher, BUT justified considering the quality of service and food. Try deer pašticada or grilled lamb.
