A very cozy place. We moved from Krk to Karlovac with a coffee break at Captain Hook. It was almost empty (~16:30, Monday in the middle of September).

Historic Boat builders cafe with the occasional modern pirate and evening musicians visiting make this an all around interesting cafe. A view of the boat yard, Frankopan castle and refinery working puts it at the nexus of powerful forces. With the people of this True Kings Town behind it and Tito fighting next to it this cafe endures in a very Croatian way.

A nice little caffe/bar in the small port od Kraljevica. The terrace is very nice, sunny and right by the sea.

Really nice bar with excellent cappuccino. We had a break at Captain Hook during our trip to the Plitvice national park.
