Restaurant Nigra Korčula

Such a lovely experience with a group of 12. Worth the money, food is so fresh and delicious! The restaurant starts off with a delicious croquette. Appetizer included the octopus and bread (which is so light and fluffy - some of the best we had on our trip). I then had a homemade pasta (traditional style) with creme pesto called "PESTO GENOVESE". Highly recommend. My husband got the fish of the day which was amberjack. Really lovely experience. Would definitely come back here.

It is a fantastic place, on the terrace above the sea, overlooking Korcula port.
The food was delicious, and the waitress was super friendly.
I was there with a small group of friends, and the chief greeted us with arancini balls. We had shared starters with homemade bread, octopus in tempura, and scallops.
For the main dish, we had fish of the day and beef tenderloin, and for dessert, brownies with homemade ice cream.
Of course, the wine card is also perfect, but we choose the local sort - Grk from Bire.
The restaurant is a bit pricey but totally worth it. Also, note that they charge a couvert, 5 euros per person, but it's all mentioned in their menu.
I will definitely come back again.

The view is just fantastic. You look right at the city and the marina. The service was impeccable and the food was magnificent. We had the risotto and gnocchi. You should definitely order the home made bread with olive oil for starters for the most spongy foccacia you have ever tasted. Local wine was also quite enjoyable.

The toilet paper was placed the other way around in the holder, but everything other than that was spectacular!
Amazing food, even better views. The hostess is well versed with the menu and the scallops & scampi risotto are not worth missing out on. Cheers to the team and super kudos!

The best meal I had in Croatia. My waitress Nina was SO friendly and kind (someone give this girl a raise) and knowledgeable - she helped me pick my wine and even brought the bottle for me to see and explained all of the tasting notes & growing process beautifully. She also recommended my main course - the Nigra special which was so fresh and delicious. The view of the sea and the old city was just the cherry on top of a perfect meal!

Had dinner here tonight and it was excellent. The view of old town is gorgeous and it’s right on the sea. The service was excellent. Had the tomato soup, fish of the day (amberjack) and the mad brownie dessert. Everything we ate was so delicious (especially the dessert!!)

I would highly recommend this restaurant. It’s also nice that it is very peaceful as it is just outside of town.

An absolutely incredible restaurant in Korcula specializing in local seafood and produce. Ignore the negative comments from a few guests, this restaurant was the best we have had in Croatia yet and the service was spectacular. Tony is a fantastic server.

Great food and an impeccable service. Being just out of town means it’s much quieter. Fabulous flavours, and the pasta is highly recommended. First ever Tate it Grk wine, which was pleasantly surprising. £25 a head, and well worth it. The view over to the old town are certainly worth it alone. Very relaxing way to spend a lunchtime.

Great food, even better ambiance. The restaurant is away from the crush of the crowds and the heat of old town, looking across the harbor. The scallops were seared perfectly, the pasta fresh, and monkfish finished with a sauce that navigated the line between delicate and rich. The local GRK wine topped off a perfect meal. This is a place to seek out in Korčula.

Great restaurant, with a perfect seaside view. First we had a great breakfast, and just judging by The breakfast we knew it had to be a good restaurant. We reserved a table for dinner, and it was perfect. Great food and great wine pairing. The waiter , Toni, was also educated in wine and gave Us great wine with The food. The restaurant was almost empty, which was a shame, when it is so much better then most restaurants in The city center. Its just 200meter away, so absolutely worth a visit. Either for breakfast or for dinner.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at "Nigra," a remarkable restaurant located in Korčula Town on the stunning Korčula Island. Situated right on the water's edge, the restaurant offers a breathtaking view of the old town, making it an ideal spot to soak in the beauty while enjoying a delightful meal. My experience at "Nigra" exceeded all expectations, leaving me thoroughly impressed. Tony the waiter was great, and is also very knowledgable of the local wine. Cannot recommend "Nigra" enough. Will definitely be back.

Situated right by the shoreline with a view over Korcula town. Wonderful prawn risotto and a very pleasant and accommodating waiter.

We had a great evening directly on the seaside in the new opened NIGRA restaurant. The food was amazing: Delicious and very creative!
Like it is with gourmet food: quality has it's price and we would recommend a full 3-course-menu. We felt so warmly welcomed, the service was great and in the end we even got to taste some homemade liqueur. A great experience we would always recommend! Wish we could come back soon. Walked by several times thinking nothing of Nigra. It didn’t seem that busy, so we were worried about quality. However after going for a simple pasta Ragu and an unique take on a lamb shank dish, we genuinely couldn’t be happier. Hidden gem, with beautiful views and lovely staff. Found our dining venue for the next week on the island! Would whole heartedly recommend.

We stopped at Nigra after a day of biking around Lastovo and sailing to Korcula. It was awesome. We had an incredible view of the old town, and the restaurant itself was fantastic. It’s right on the sea, and our waiter, Tony, was super helpful and really cool to just talk with. 10/10 would recommend this place to anybody. It’s chill, beautiful and has some of the best food I’ve enjoyed and the best staff I’ve experienced.

Everything was perfect! I ordered the risotto and it was amazing.
