I was planning to move, and I got here by sheer chance. But I couldn't be more impressed.
On the commercial front, their page is astonishingly complete and honest. As many as 50 aspects of interest are disclosed right away including construction materials, construction features, nearby facilities, accesses etc. No glossying over the less attractive things. It's all there, the good features and the not-so-good ones. You'll never be surprised at the last moment by, say, an asbestos roof that you didn't know about. You go there with your eyes wide open. And there's a link to you tube in most pages that walks you through the property. Furthermore, they have a wide offer and their prices are more than reasonable (let's hope they don't read this).
On the personal front, let me start by saying that I've never met these people because my plans were sadly aborted. But I sure wish I had. They're more than just nice, they're friendly. They offer all kind of help. They try to iron out any difficulty you may have moving from another country.
And if, in the end, you end up not being their customer, like I did, they're still kind and understanding. A true gem. If you're planning on buying in Croatia I believe this is the place to go to.

I contacted Plitvice Property Croatia after deciding to look for a house to buy in Croatia. Chiel, the agent contacted me right away to advise about the houses. He later arranged to show me a few properties. He helped to negotiate a purchase price with the owner. He speaks both English and Croatian, so that's very valuable. Wij hebben alleen maar lof voor Chiel van der Voort, de makelaar in Kroatië van Plitvice Property Croatia.
Hij woont in Slunj, spreekt zowel Kroatisch als Nederlands, Duits en Engels wat natuurlijk ontzettend handig is aangezien wij nog geen woord Kroatisch spreken.
Wij hebben via Chiel ons huis in Kroatië gekocht, net buiten Slunj, provincie Karlovac.
Hij nam ons mee (zonder afspraak vooraf) naar het Belastingkantoor in Slunj waar we meteen een O.I.P. nummer kregen, een Kroatische ID nummer dat je nodig hebt om onroerend goed op je naam te kunnen krijgen. Vervolgens troonde hij ons naar het gemeentehuis waar hij regelde dat water en elektra op onze naam gezet werd en de vuilnisbakken geregeld werden. Dat zouden we zonder hem nooit zo snel voor elkaar gekregen hebben.
Als we een klusjesman of iets dergelijks nodig hebben, bellen of mailen we Chiel. Hij heeft vele contacten daar en weet wie goed werk doet en betrouwbaar is.
Toen we de elektriciteitsrekening kregen, hielp Chiel met de vertaling van die rekening en de betaling daarvan. Hij is echt goud waard. Ook lang nadat de koop afgerond is, kun je hem om hulp of tips vragen, super!

September 2022 zaten wij op een regenachtige dag in Nederland Youtube te kijken en daar kwamen wij tegen, Chiel van der Voort van Plitvice Property Croatia.
Het eerst wat wij hier thuis tegen elkaar zeiden, dit is een Nederlandse makelaar! We hebben zijn website bezocht en hier kwamen wij ons droomhuis tegen. Na telefonisch contact hadden wij een bezichtiging staan op 2 november 2022.
Wij werden door Chiel hartelijk ontvangen bij de woning, en kregen echt alle tijd om het huis te bezichtigen! Wat natuurlijk ook nodig is met 1400 km afstand.

Als extra heeft hij ons ook geholpen bij het aanmelden voor water en elektriciteit. Welke vraag je ook hebt hij doet zijn uiterster best deze zo goed mogelijke te beantwoorden/behandelen.

Wij zijn hem ontzettend dankbaar.

Wir haben vor einem Jahr ein Haus im Kreis Karlovac über Chiel gekauft. Ein Besichtigungstermin war schnell gefunden. Die Abwicklung war super, er war hilfsbereit und Nett. In september 2022 hebben wij een woning aangekocht in Točak in de gemeente Slunj (Karlovac).
