Konoba Dvor Dubokovic

Delicious food from local products, home made wine, the excellent service, and the owner takes care of every guest. This 150 years old place in inland has an unique atmosphere, is situated in beautiful garden and it is definitely worthy to visit it. I highly recommend it!

After a dozen trips to Croatia this was one of the best and most pleasant meals I’ve ever had there. Well worth the hike or drive to get here. Absolutely tender and delicious octopus peka , octopus salad perfect and tasty Dalmatian tasting platter with meats, cheeses and fish. The setting in the old stone village with a view over the hills and olive groves and vineyards is quintessential Croatia. The value for money is also better than anything else on Hvar - particularly compared to Hvar town. They accept card payments.

We came to this restaurant in our first evening on the island. Typical food and not expensive. We had a great time here. The owner welcomed us and cooked the seabass over charcoal. The table we sat was outside and we enjoyed our evening drinking some local wine and eating the great food that was served to us.

Absolutley best veal under the dutch owen on the Hvar island. Always the same quality, ten times in the row. Make sure to get your reservation at least day before. Parking available, staff very friendly, absolutely worth going. Domestic red wine recommended, make sure you taste it (sort: mali and veliki plavac)! Everything is always fresh, just wow.

Very nice and calm place with very good food. Sitting with a beer you canon See the ocean, the Brać Island, the mountains on the land, the vine plantation and a cementary. You can rally relax here. Prices are the same as in other such places.

If there is a perfect restaurant than this is the one :) Great service, kind people, nice ambient, delicious food, amazing home made wine, perfect deserts… Recommendation plata Konoba for 2 persons, and desert Plitve. It is good to make reservations, we were lucky that there was free place.

If you ever gonna go to Island of Hvar you have to visit Konoba Dvor Dubokovic!!!!
I was there 2 times in 3 days and I have to tell you I was absolutely amazed with everything, from the balcony view to the food I ate.
Everything was so tasty and delicious, everything was melting in my mouth.
Staff is really good friendly and full of knowledge.
First of all it's not expensive at all comparing to other restaurants.

3 of us had dinner there on August 5th 2020. We recieved the recommendation from a journalist reviewing food across Croatia. Everything was great! Food is fresh and excellent (we had plata Dvor Dubokovic and fish soup, lobster, chicken, gregada and cake Pitve for dessert). The restaurant is in a small city (oldest on Hvar if I have the correct info), a short drive from Stari Grad, Jelsa, Hvar. View is beautiful! Staff is friendly and nice. We recieved local rakija on a house. If you're on Hvar island I recommend you visit them.

A nice family run restaurant that is 2 miles from Vrboska. We stopped here to grab a glass of wine and have a look at the place. The place offers great scenery with indoor and outdoor areas. They serve good food, drinks and it’s a place where you might have to make a reservation so that alludes to the quality of the place

An exquisite meal in a magical garden with exceptional service and the prices are very reasonable. This was the best dining experience I have had on the island of Hvar. BRAVO!!!

You cannot have better Peka style octpus on the island ! Cooked in a traditional way with wood fire and only salt and alive oil for at least 2 hours .. the owner and cook was very interesting and took time to explain the process and show arround his place. Very nice discovery in this little cute village of Pitve ! Unexpected !

Forget overcrowded city's restaurants and go to inland. You will find this beautiful restaurant where you can get everything in best quality and lot of nice experiences ✨

We've been to various restaurants in croatia and the food is always great. Nonetheless, we are commenting for the first time since this one is specifically special. The owners are amazing and welcoming. The atmosphere is astonishing with a view over the hill and until the mountains on the continental coast. We came for the Octopus peka and it was even better than expected. The chef showed us how it was cooked, next to their beautiful garden. The red wine accompanying the meal, naturally made, was delitghful. If you are in Hvar island, do check this out.

We vist this most beautiful, fairytale place each summer. Try pasta with sea food or any home made "peka" and enjoy the tastes and the view. You can also buy their home made olive oil or wine!

Very nice family-owned restaurant in the small village of Pitve. The service was super friendly and the atmosphere is really relaxing and beautiful. We had the fish platter which was delicious! Would definitely come here again.

What a wonderful place. We visited the island of Hvar for 10 days and decided to venture out of the main towns for an evening. This restaurant was recommended to us by a local as having authentic Croatian cuisine, beautiful views and friendly staff... It definitely lived up to the expectation! We watched the sun set over the countryside as we ate beautiful home-cooked food (we pre-ordered the lamb peke earlier in the day as it has to be slow cooked). Definitely the best meal we had during our visit and it was cheaper than the likes of Hvar town and Stari Grad too! Upon chatting to the owners we discovered that it had been inherited from their grandparents. A family run hidden gem and you must try the rozada dessert!!

It was just amazing!!! Family restaurant with incredible tasting food, prices are very good. Only recommended. Octopus salad is the best for last many years!!!!
