Vitis Winery

A lovely experience learning about Croation and Korcula wines. They're delicious and the staff is friendly and will explain each variety. They also have delicious snacks to accompany your wine tasting. This was our favorite winery. It was quieter, more peaceful, and more enjoyable. Make sure to try the grk! Enjoy!

This beautiful family run winery, 10 minutes walk from the centre of Lumbarda is a must, the wine, food and knowledge was excellent and the location was just perfect, a definite highlight of our 2 weeks travelling around Croatia 😍

Not only my favorite place I visited in Croatia it's my favorite winery I've ever visited. I loved the Grk for the hot spring day. But Plavac Mali is also delicious. Great service, spectacular views, what more can you ask for?

Very relaxed and beautiful winery! The view could not be better! This was more laid back than the other wineries we visited. Wine was lovely and the staff was so friendly and welcoming!

Beautiful winery, the highlight of our stay on Korčula! We had originally planned to do a organised wine tour of the island but ended up doing our own tour when the company failed to pick us up. And we’re so glad it did!

We took the boat taxi to Lumbarda and it’s a short walk to the vineyard. There are a few wineries within walking distance of each other which are also worth a visit but this one was our favourite. We did the wine tasting and ordered a meat and cheese platter and everything was delicious. So much so that we bought 3 bottles of wine and 3 jars of fig jam for souvenirs. Well worth a visit to sample local made wine. Great value for money and the staff were lovely too.

Note that it’s cash only as with many places on Korčula but there’s ATMs in walking distance if needed.

A wonderful family winery. The family history is growing grapes, and now they have taken it to a higher level and are producing their own wine. We tried excellent wine and prosciutto and cheese. A must visit when you are in Korcula, and buy some wine to remind you of the wonderful time spent there.

This is the first thing you need to do when you get on the island is to go here. Get yourself a platter and some wine. It’s so amazing you won’t regret it one bit. From the the wine to the cheese, everything is wonderful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! 10 stars !

Amazing place. This winery is absolutely fantastic. The prices are very reasonable and the wine is delicious. The host of our accommodation recommended we go here and it did not disappoint. Such a wonderful experience!! We went earlier in the season, and it was quiet and beautiful. We learned so much about wine,
and the winery in general. Would love to go back some day. If you’re on korcula, it’s a must see :).

We came here a couple of days ago, one of the best things we have done in Croatia. The wine tasting set was so good, staff gave us a lot of information on each wine, if it wasn’t for the wife packing the kitchen sink I would of purchased a few bottles to take back home!!! We also had a cheese board and it was bang on, more than enough for three people. Perfect afternoon with a view and excellent prices. Oh they even called us a taxi when we finished which added a cherry on top.

Most of the outside seating is covered from the sun and rain. We sampled 3 wines they were all excellent. We also ordered cheese and meat snacks which came with bread. They provided the olive oil they make so we could dip our bread in it. Excellent wine, snacks, and view.

This was the highlight of our visit to Lumbarda. Not only were the wine and snacks delicious but the ambiance was incredible. To look out at the vineyards and garden with the sea in the distance while enjoying the local products is an experience that could not be topped. The service was also great with the waitress kindly explaining the details of the products and family traditions. I will remember this experience forever.

A great winery with romantic garden views, cosy atmosphere, and very friendly staff. We had a wine tasting and a tasty mixed cheese snack that came with bread and olive oil (which was surprisingly delicious). We especially enjoyed their Grk wine, which we found to taste a bit different then in other wineries around the area that we tried. The prices were very fair as well, and everything was prepared with care and love. I definitely recommend visiting this charming winery, especially around the sunset time.

Best winery in Korcula! Do not skip this. It was the best experience! The winery is so accommodating (we came with our toddler). The service, wine, platter, and views were incredible!

You should definitely visit if you are staying in Korcula. The wine is great, food platter delicious and the waitress was so nice and told us interesting informations about local wine.

Easily walkable from Lumbarda town, and great value for what you get in terms of wine tasting. We had a lovely visit sitting in the winery patio with amazing views of the sea down the vineyard. Wine was fantastic. Highly recommend you make a visit! Easy to get to from Korčula old town, just a 15kn bus ride.

Happy to arrive here and being welcomed by a lovely wine family. Perfect wine tasting of the 3 wines they sell: GRK, rose made from Plavac Mali and the red Plavac Mali itself. Very tasty wines that you can combine with a cheese and ham platter. The staff is super kind and makes you feel 100% comfortable. I heard them switch between multiple languages so in case you want to know more about the wine in your own language I suppose they will be able to answer you fluently! Almost all their wines are sold out due to the good season but I luckily scored two bottles of the Plavac Mali. The rose and the Grk are reserved for the tasting, so you can still try them! The setting of this place is also stunning. I will come back today with my friends and I am sure the experience will be the same as yesterday or even better. Looking forward!

Absolute must! My fiancé and I went around Lumbarda trying Grk and this was our first stop. It was honestly the best we’ve tried out of all 5 vineyards, with Lovric a close second. We came on a Sunday so Bire and Popic were closed but still an amazing view and experience. Highly recommend!
