Eco Gecko's Mini Autokamp

I just loved the place. Small camping with everything you need. Further away from the coast but close to the Parenzana bike trail (as well as other bike paths). Great summer vibes, totally different than crammed campings at the seaside. The owner was very friendly!

Great small camping if you are cycling or hiking around Parenzana! Very welcoming, hot shower, clean and open full year.

Basic camping meets the needs of cyclists using the Parenzana Trail. Be sure to contact host Michael before setting up camp. In my case, the tourist bureau in nearby (and lovely) Grozjnan was willing to call to let him know I was headed over. It’s not a place to show up after dark unannounced. Be sure to meet your food needs in Buje (market/restaurants) or Grozjnan (pizzeria w/killer view).

A simple, small and wonderful campsite. Basic but super lean, clean and handy facilities. Everything you need to escape the tourist hordes and tend to the simple life. Perfect spot to start hikes or bike rides. Did I mention they have an epic tree hut terrace (perfect for a evening or morning yoga session- if you’re into that kind of stuff).

Nice, cozy, quiet and healing place where to spend holidays. Strategic place from where you can travel all tre Istria by car or bike. Close to to Buje and not so far from Porec.

We had a wonderfull stay at this side. Very quiet and peaceful. There is electricity and clean showers with hot water. Contrary to below reviews. Kids are very welcome. Would recommend coming here. Thank you Michael

I was here in august. Ideal mini camping if you want to escape from mass campings. Everything you need is here (toilet, shower, washing machine, local bar nearby) and is very maintained and clean. Good for tents, camper and caravan.
The owner, originating from Australia, speaks English and is very nice and helpful. Michael is very talkative with a lot of stories, discover that yourself ;-). He walks through the camping with you to assign a place and has some excellent tips where you can make excursion from here.

Very nice campsite just across the border. The area and the campsite itself are quiet and peaceful. Showers and toilets are modern and very clean. The owners are friendly and willing to help you with anything. Great value for money and a great way to escape the overcrowded seaside.

Nice small camp in Istria, set back inland away from the busy coast. Covered seating area, clean bathrooms, no Wi-Fi.
Makes a good base to explore the region, hike and bike trails very nearby. Owner Michael is a good guy, nice vibes, friendly place, sounds of birds, awesome night sleep.

It is a small campsite organised by an australian guy. The toilet and the shower is clean, there is a washing machine as well. The camp is very good and quiet, but the best thing is the nest in the branch of a great oak tree. It's a must to climb up to there. Before arriving I recommend to call Michel the owner on phone.

Super friendly host. No WiFi but everything (electricity, washing machine, hot shower) is included in the affordable price. He even lend us an extension cable and a light during our stay. Has a cute adopted 3 legged cat

Tiny camping with a maximum of up to 8 tents only! Wonderfully quiet. Nice owner. Super affordable as well! Clean toilets and showers. Washing machine and electricity are included in the basic price.

A nice and relaxed place to stay with a friendly owner. He does certainly have an opinion about things, hence the sign 'No Kids' on the entrance. I can imagine that would turn some people off, but it certainly did not for us.
Clean and adequate toilets and douches. Further no facilities. No WiFi, no swimming pool ;-)
Are there any downsides? For us the lack of a fridge or a freezer to cool the toolbox-elements was a bit unhandy. We partially overcame that by buying a bag of ice at the petrol station that's located near the roundabout between Tribani and Buje.

Stayed here on our 10th day of roadtrip through Croatia. Having slept in several camps, this one was certainly the most enjoyable place to stay. Had a lot of fun talking with the owner. Had access to all the necessary facilities and the ground was soft enough to set up the tent with ease.

This is how all campsites should be: small, quiet, clean, well equiped (washing machine, electricity) and beautifully located. It is nicely run by Michael who is always ready to help.

Great litlle camp site for nature lovers. Nice and lovely. Charasmatic owner from Australia who loves his campsite. Be sure to visit the reception before putting up your tent. This is a place you must see. Thanks for letting us enjoy at your beautifull place.

Visited twice in four days: worth it! Lovely little camp site with decent and clean facilities. Heaps of wildlife on and around the place: we loved the calls of the Scops owls. The local grill (Konoba) provides a simple but very tasty meal.
