Konoba Joskan

Thankful we found this place thanks to Google Maps! I had the rumpsteak which was enormous and served with the perfect cooking (medium / medium rare). My boyfriend had the Raznjici. It were 2 ‘kebab’ type sticks. The Raznjici was well spiced and tender! The rumpsteak was tender too and I added a little bit of salt myself, which I don’t find a problem at all because everyone likes their seasoning a bit different.

Prices are great value! Rumpsteak was 11,50 and Raznjici was €9,30. We also ordered the pomfrit which was fried potato slices. They were crunchy. And around €3 in price.

Waiting was indeed a bit longer for the dishes, but that’s totally fair since it’s prepared/cooked over an open fire. Bbq-style!

We took the tiramisu to share for €4. It was a big portion and very tasty! The best tiramisu we had (that we didn’t make ourselves).

Drinking prices were good too. Nothing too expensive. So it’s not like they try to ‘get money’ by having expensive prices for the drinks, like other places we’ve been through this vacation.

Waiter was really friendly and spoke English very well. We were very surprised with his friendliness since the service in Split (where we stayed) has been a bit of a bummer, so it was a world of difference here in Konoba Joskan in Omis.

A hidden gem in Omiš old town!! Lovely atmosphere, friendly service 😀 and the food is to die for!! Best fish I had in a while. My parents are regulars, and I can't wait to come back next year!

We were a bit early so the kitchen wasn’t ready but the owner could make us some fresh tuna steaks and they were amazing! We also ordered a bottle of white wine, amazing affordable lunch!

Such a cute and special restaurant! The large grill in the entrance was a really cool feature and I watched them cook my fresh fish in front of my eyes! The server was so friendly and the prices are phenomenal. Would recommend to anyone visiting Omis

Very good food. Its fresh and you can see how your food is coocked on the grill outside. Its at a beautiful place and its cozy. I recommend this place.

Had lunch here and decided tot come to dinner as it was delicious. The most tasty fish we ate in Croatia, good prices. And the stuff is really nice. Totally recommended!

Very cozy place with super tasty food :) maybe the only minus was that everything’s was a little too salty and there was too much oil in the salad. The white fish was amazing!

I think this was the best resteaurant we have been to during our trip in Croatia. It had a really nice interior, clean toilet, great, professional service and amazing food! The prices were relatively moderate so I really recommend this place!!

Small restaurant, we were well welcomed. Modern, cool interior. Well priced, the cost was maximum for what I would consider value for money - lunch from grill between 60 - 100hrk (8-14eur). Large beer cost us 15kn (2€). Fish was very tasty and of good quality as far as I can tell

Very quiet and cozy location for great food and service. We came at around lunch time and ordered food off of the lunch menu as well as the regular menu. The food was super fresh and we could watch the chef cook the meat on the grill right next to us which was great. The waiter was very patient with us „foreign“ guests and explained everything on the menu in detail. Should definitely go there if you want to eat peacefully.

Very nice place to eat something local. The food is tasty, although not everything from the card was available so the options where limited. The restaurant is located in the Old Town, but not directly on the main busy and crowded street where most of the restaurants are. Also the service is good.

Excellent grill restaurant in the heart of Omis but in the quiet corner. We, group of 6 friends, were there twice and everything we eaten was very tasty. Service was friendly as well. It is the best Konoba in Omis.

We lov them. We scared of cheese burger for our kid but he loved it too.
If you around just step here and enjoy great fish.

Such amazing food, cooked to perfection. This is the second time we have been here in 3 days and we will probably spend the rest of our holiday having dinner here. As good as the food is, it's also more reasonably priced than other restaurants in the area.

We've tried several high rated restaurants in Omiš but nothing came even close to this place. Absolutely delicious food and very friendly Service. Only downside is, that they only accept cash.

Not much to say:
Just enjoy, especially the (extraordinary) fish depends on the days catch; be calling them to check up for Tuna…
Beefsteak was great, local wine was unknown to me, just tried the same as the owner did, great choice to do so😀

Good local food here. Home cooking taste. Friendly staff. I highly recommend it to locals and tourists alike.

Intimate restaurant just off the main drag but felt miles away, you walk past the grill to the seating, good Croatian cuisine with helpful waiting staff, not too expensive, service pretty swift and friendly. Had a lovely evening.

Stumbled across this little gem last night. They fed 8 of us and we were all so satisfied! Beautiful setting and amazing, uncomplicated food. The service was great too, and it was nice to see our food being cooked on a fire at the front of the restaurant :) highly recommended
