Risnjak National Park

Beautiful, pristine nature! There are few possibilities: you can climb to the Risnjak peak or Snježnik, explore the source of Kupa river or take easier path with children and walk around educational Leska. Whatever you choose you will enoy it! The ticket is valid for 2 days!

Wonderful environment and well maintained and marked trails. The last half an hour climb to Risnjak vrh is a nice final.

It is great place for hiking. It has relatively good marked trails. It is not too demanding, only the final few hundred meters is bit harder. There is also not too many people. Nature is beautiful if you like forest.

The employees are very friendly, they provide all the necessary information when buying tickets. The beauty of nature leaves you breathless...we'll be back for sure.

Beautiful nature. From entrance about an hour of a walk to Schlosser's home, the climb is not too difficult. The Vilje entrance is not very well marked, so you should be careful when you turn off the main road, if you come from that entrance to the park, you will be charged a ticket at Schlosser's home. From the home you have a great view of the top of Risnjak and its rocks. It's beautiful at the top.

Definetly worth visiting if you are near. Take one day and explore this Croatian gem.

Visited Leska path with two kids 4 and 8 years old, it was very enjoyable experience. Afterwards visited source of river Kupa - drive and hike to/from the Razloge village was a bit more challenging, but definitely possible. From there tooks about half an hour to get to the river and about 40min to get back up.

Great place to spend a day or two, the staff is very friendly and the place is overall stunning. If you enter at Bijela Vodica, there is a lake with very friendly ducks so bring some bagel for them. There is also a restaurant (haven't been there) and bike rental. On the top of the mountain Risnjak, there is a small cabin where you can spend the night and eat for very cheap.

Good for hikers who could climb up to Risnjak and Snjeznik peak, visit source of river Kupa or just wondering around inside the forest which is populated by bears, wild cats, foxes, rabbits, boars, deers, etc. For begining start at Crni Lug NP headquater and explore the nearest area.

Beautiful place. In Leska You should rent an electro-bike. Just next to entrance to Park is Pension with really nice staff. Recommend!
Another magical place is Izvor Kupe. We moved to Razloge by car and from there it takes about half an hour of walking to get in. That is real paradise on Earth.

This park is breathtaking, the mountains are really rugged but the trails are very well marked, making them easy to follow. Make sure you do the hike all the way up the Risnjak Mountain and stop by for some food at the hut at the top.

Hike was only from Platak parking to Snježnik and Guslica, then back to Platak. Next time will plan to go on top of Veliki Risnjak

Absolutely magnificent. This Croatian National Park full of beautiful nature is called after lynx (croatian: ris), a wild cat that lives in this area of Croatia. The highest point, Veliki Risnjak with its 1528 meters above sea level and relative proximity to the Adriatic sea is SPECTACULAR viewpoint!! At times of bura wind you can see everything in more than 100km radius!

The price for 2 days is 45kn (cca 6 euros) and for students it is 25 krones (around 4 euros). For this price, this is absolutely must see! Every season, winter, spring, summer and autumn has its own magic, so don't worry about the time of the year. Enjoy!!

All the time path is going trought the woods, but last 100 meters to the top is magnificent, the view is spreading to the lake Lokvarsko, Adriatic sea, bridge and even the island of Krk.

Beautiful nature, fresh air, if you want to enjoy and relax , highly recommended .

The ticket price is 45kn and the ticket is valid for two days. There are numerous well marked hiking trails. From the national park entrance near Crni Lug (682m) there are two hiking paths (3 hours hiking time) to the Schlosser lodge(1418m). From there it's another 20-30 minutes to the Veliki Risnjak peak (1528m).

Amazing for walking; hiking or biking and a lovely restaurant to refuel before and after - recommend the palacinka.

We loved it.... Great food and atmosphere, you eat and drink in the middle of national Park Risnjak... Delicious food and desert I highly recommend to go check this place...
