It's a little place, some furniture are actually damaged sadly, but in general, the atmosphere is amazing and the food too. I didn't expect competitive prices, but they are. My only fault was to arrive there starving after a flight and with no food from too long, fault because portions are not abundant, they are just perfect. I got used to oversize average taste burgers, but here you can find standard sized burgers with an incredible quality. Sure, you could wait 20-30 minutes, but absolutely worth it. Burger with mushroom just perfect, the taste of mushroom was strong but not overwhelming, perfectly balancing with everything else. Also chips were great and the price just perfect. Highly suggested

Almost 10 years after my first visit Burgeraj is still the best burger in town. They were the first ‘american’ burger with a twist in Zagreb. Apart from the food what sets Burgeraj apart are the people. The team is almost the same from day one. It’s a true family burger place.

Classic smash burger. For me personally the burger was little small in diamether. Generally the quality of the prepared meat was really good and tasty. I was eating the pepper jam burger. It was a really nice ballance of hot and sweet pepper. The bun was really soft and i really liked that but neutral with flavour. The cheese inside was also really nice. French fries was just really plain and i didn’t like it so much. I think they should offer more types of french fries. They have good craft beers.
Overall i would give 3.2 out of 5. Surelly I would not avoid this place. You should try this burger and taste it youself! Must try in Zagreb!

Man let me tell you best burger I’ve had in months! Almost was too small since it’s like a smash burger wish i had gotten a double patty but taste wise and with the fries everything was fresh and hot and tasty. Definitely will be back when i visit Zagreb again. Very affordable as well

We went there because of the recommendation as one of the best burger restaurants in Zagreb. Unfortunately because of the bad weather, terrace was closed so we had to eat inside, which, depending on when you come, might be a problem as there is very few tables inside, so we had to wait for about 15min for table to become available.
We waited for about 20mins to get out burger, which is why I gave service 4 stars.
The burgers were absolutely amazing, very tasty, fresh and you can see that they were carefully put together.
Only minus is that the burger is on the smaller side, so if you arrive very hungry, don’t expect to leave full.
Prices are very affordable, as of the day of writing this, all of the burgers are 9€ with fries and sauce included.

Really good burger, we ordered the Bacon Cheese. The bun was like nothing I’ve ever had, extremely soft. Only seating for 14 so it’s pretty tight. Highly recommend.

On holiday from Melbourne and surprised to have the best burger in a years. Ordered a Hambi and Pepper Jam to go. Perfect patty and bun with great flavour combinations The Fries a delight. Great service and a lovely chat to the owner.

Tamari Mushroom stole my heart! 😍🍄The taste is unbelievable and very well balanced!! I asked for a bit of spiciness if possible and they delivered 😌 As potatoe connoisseur I was also surprised how well salted and crispy they were. Overall great meal, just as everyone else, it was so good I wish there were some extra amount of potatoes or bigger size of the burger so I can enjoy it for tiny bit longer, that's it. ☺

My wife and I visited and both thought these were some of the best burgers we have ever eaten. The meat and flavor combinations were sublime. This is a small restaurant that caters to locals, but is just as welcoming to tourists like us. The portions and service were great and the staff were friendly. If you get a burger in Zagreb, this is the place.

True hidden gem! Everything about this place is pure perfection: the ambiance, service, cleanliness and of course the food. On the spot burgers - so good we got another one each! Beer is also very good.

A really cool burger place! The burgers are really phenomenal! There are several options of burgers, you also get chips with these. The only thing I think that could be better is the size of the portion. Otherwise, one of the best burgers you can taste in Zagreb :)

Great spot for burgers. The burger and topping combinations are great. The bread is on point! The cheese did seem ‘fake’ like velveeta or something, but it was creamy and delicious so I looked past that! They have kombucha which is hard to find at other restaurants too.

Small inside so it could be crowded. Artwork is old movies, very cool.

One of the tastiest burgers I’ve consumed.
We was lucky to have a table, but once inside the space is quaint and nicely decorated.
Our host was polite and courteous. Our beverage orders was taken and mains in good time.
The burgers arrived within 25 minutes as initially informed.
There is soo much flavour! Small but delicious.
With hindsight in mind I would have ordered three burgers but we had landed after an early flight so headed back to our Airbnb.
Unsure if you can book in advance but definitely worth checking out.

Burger was really really delicious and juicy, we had onion jam. Fries with ketchup was very good too. It just had one flaw, the portion could be a little bit bigger.

The best burgers in Zagreb. I have been coming to Burgeraj for the last 5 years and it is always good.
Fantastic burgers, delicious, good chips (round shape), and good tap beer. You can eat the burger and don’t get dirty, which is a great characteristic for a burger.

The place has good music, and ambient, but we aware that it gets full pretty easy as the place is small.

Best burger of the whole city. It was so juicy and all extra wishes were fulfilled. Can highly recommend this place. But take some time with you. Only 4 tables plus corner table and seats at the bar.

This is in my top 5 burgers in the world. Uncomplicated yet decadent. The Onion Jam is a perfect balance of sweet caramel mixing with the meaty smashed patty. The potato chips/fries are such a delightful difference to the usual french fries, as sliced thick bits of potato, that could be fried or oven baked, but who cares, they're delicious. Great beer on tap, and a great selection of booze otherwise. Really is burger heaven.
