Lotus Therme Hotel & Spa

We haven't stayed there personally but our Family did when visited Heviz. They were very satisfied by the hotel. The restaurant with buffet is awesome (we tried the breakfast and dinner buffet) with a wide variety of food in excellent quality. The employees speak fluent German and English. The entertainment is great and they even have their own hotel newspaper in different languages with programs and recommendations on what to do in the area. For somebody who appreciates a high class vacation in Hungary this hotel can absolutely be recommended.

This is a well-run and beautiful hotel and spa. The grounds are beautifully cared for. It is an easy and pleasant walk along a creek to get to town. Breakfast and dinner were sumptuous. Loved every minute there. Hope to get back there.

The most customer friendly hotel in Hungary, I have ever been. The food was exceptional and also the staff was well trained and professional.
The water temperature in the outside pool was also perfect.

Great location and within easy walking distance to the lake. Great selection of food daily and staff were extremely helpful, friendly and polite. Spoke with a number of couples from neibouring countries whilst there who said they returned to this hotel on a yearly basis due to the good service and amenities.

Good location: nice park around the hotel. Short walk along water to go to the center.
Room is comfortable.
Breakfast and dinner are great: buffet with small portion of various food refilled all the time so everything is always hot (for example 7 types of meat available) Piano player for dinner. There is a dress code in the evening.
The main attraction is the pool/spa area from thermal water so always around 30° even in the outside pool. Sauna area is also nicely made and pleasant to enjoy
Pricy but really worth it...

The hotel is very well maintained and very clean. The facilities are excellent with there being 3 thermal pools plus a big indoor and outdoor pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good aswell though tables aren't reserved at dinner or breakfast.

Staff:
First and foremost I commend the staff as they provided an exemplary experience. They are friendly, helpful and polite well above average. One of the best, if not the best, I met so far.

Room:
Its size is adequate, it is clean, cozy and quiet. The mattresses are good (it's not as common a feature as it should be...) and one can try out premium pillows on request for free. Balcony is a bit small. Our room was near the hotel entrance, during the day the sun is very strong (in August at least). It includes a safe free to use.

Common space:
Clean and looks very nice. Includes a bar with a good choice of drinks and has a pool table.

Restaurant:
Both breakfast and dinner have a large variety of foods.
Breakfast provides a wide variety of options, most of which are the same every day. Vegetables, breads (also gluten-free), cold cuts, cheeses, marmalades, butter, grains, eggs (scrambled, boiled, fried) etc. It also includes drinks like different juices or mint infused water etc.
Dinner also provides a wide variety, but the options change a lot more from day to day. Gourmet hors-d'oeuvre, meats, vegetables, soups etc. And a wide selection of sweets.
Most of the food are quite good, there were certainly excellent choices, with a few not so good ones (eg. some of the waffles were half-raw inside). If I would rate it independently, I'd give it 4.5 out of 5.

Spa:
Pools are okay, nothing special. Outside pool's location is good, sun shines almost all day. The hotel itself is in a green, quiet place, so it's perfect for relaxation.
There are a few free services, eg. gymnastic classes (yoga, pilates etc.) we didn't try. We only tried the wellness massage, which was okay I guess, but I personally prefer my own sport masseur.
We did get free watermelon and ice cream while spending a few hours in the outside pool, which is a nice little extra.

All in all, Lotus Therme is an ideal choice for relaxation in a quiet, natural place. Above all, the staff is commendable. The room is nice and quiet. The selection of food in the restaurant is excellent, quality is usually very high with some less than excellent exceptions.

I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to relax, usually to families or older couples. For those in their 10s, 20s, there might not be much to do here.
It is certainly on my revisit list.

Its a must visit hotel with an awesome experience in and around the location that takes you closer to the lovely lush greenery and the breath of fresh air.

Nice place for relaxing. Fantastic nature, Hévíz lake is not far from here. Comfortable room, delicious food, kind staff.
