+food: all the foods and drinks are pretty good and tasty, not even that pricey. all the cakes are perfectly made, the portion of food is enough. there is a lot of choice on the menu to choose from.
+atmosphere: the whole building has a nice style, a bit ancient but nicely built, modern enough, there are huge tables but for me they are arranged in a crowded manner a bit, but spacious enough.
the way there is super easy, accessible by car, bus or tram.

It was the best atmosphere and taste.

It's a very calm environment and they have cakes from all previous years (orszàg tortàja). Highly recommended! 👊

Perfect atmosphere! Must try famous strawberry cake. Foods are delicious but cakes are so good. Cakes prices are cheap considering to the city center. Must visit place !

Great place. Beautiful cafee with a restaurant in the back part. Very tasty pastries and food. Excellent service. Tram nr 50 stops right in front. A lot of place to park as well.

Nice vintage-style confectionary, really good to eat a well-prepared cake in the garden. The service is really nice, they have home-made diabetic ice creams as well. They also have diabetic-, and gluten-free cakes.

Very nice place, great atmosphere, professional customer service. Food amazing, everyone of us were satisfied with their order, I had the salmon with ricotta and spinach and roasted veg. We also had desserts, of course tried the country's cake of 2019. Not the cheapest place but surely we'll visit them soon again, well worth it!

This is place is worth the journey. Went for a salad today & had a wonderful pumpkin, chestnut & figs salad with wonderful chicken and duck strips in sesame breadcrumbs, topped of with an orange sauce. Bought cakes to take home & try! Will definitely be back!

Nice place. Big and convenient car park. Warm service. Cakes were good. The portion is nearly double than in other confectionery in the city (with the same price).

A very atmospheric place to spend time with your loved one(s)/friends/foes.

The menu is great, there are no hundreds of items to choose from.

I ordered loin (medium-rare)wrapped in bacon with sweet potatoes and a special sauce, which was a tiny bit too spicy (it has whole pepper pieces in it).

As we celebrated my friend’s birthday we had ordered a cake - which was absolutely delicious! I didn’t catch the name of it but it was one of the best cakes I have ever had so far!

The waiters are nice, the day was very busy so we sometimes had to wait a few minutes until we could order another drink, but it was perfectly fine.

One of the best mid-range restaurants in town. Cozy, friendly environment with top of the line waiters from a previous age :)

I have been visiting the restaurant on a bimonthly basis and food was always in the range from good to perfect ( with one exception: 4 years ago, one of my seafood risotto were extremely salty. I got it replaced ASAP with no additional charges. )

If you are there, do not miss their pastry shop, which have won many national and international awards over the last decade.

Delicious, reasonably priced food in a wonderful setting - it's a pleasure to dine here whether inside or out, the ambiance is great - with very good service. I really like this place and have come here on repeat visits to Budapest. (Please'like'this review if you find it useful.)

I had an excellent meal here. It’s a bit far from the downtown, so the clientele seems to be mainly locals as opposed to tourists. Friendly staff, some of whom are English-speaking. They have an English menu as well. Don’t forget to try their famous cakes!

It is really nice place even if located far from the center, and next to noisy Ulloi ut. Restaurant is a pavillon, and serves not only great food inspired by Hungarian cuisine, but also sells plenty of sweets, cakes and desserts. Worth going at least once...
