I got the 90 minute Deep Cleaning Facial, and it was wonderful. The massage was so good, and I finished feeling completely relaxed.

And they give you half the value of your service towards any product, so I got a free body oil.

I was very lucky to get a silver facial with Hanna as she is simply amazing and gives the best Hungarian facial massage! I will never forget my experience at this beautiful spa. Omorovicza skin care products are unique in their special use of Hungarian thermal waters for their healing benefits. This flagship boutique and spa is modeled after one of these famous Hungarian thermal spas and has wonderful atmosphere.

I first discovered the luxury skin care brand when reading an interview with Rosamund Pike about her experience in filming in Hungary: "Omorovicza, the Hungarian skincare line, has a spa right in the center where I had one of the best facials I’ve ever had. They have a facial mist called the Queen of Hungary Mist, which I now take on set with me all the time, actually. It’s a good one for flying and for giving your skin that drink."

Since experiencing their facials several times since, I couldn't agree more. Nikki is amazing and all the staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. The facials, which include the heavenly Hungarian face massage, are highly recommended, as are their excellent skin care products.

When I saw the boutique located just a couple blocks up from our accommodation, I decided what better opportunity to treat myself to my first facial, in the home of the brand.

I booked in for the Illuminating facial because my skin is dry and in need of resurfacing and moisture. When I turned up, the specialist checked my skin and recommended I opt for another type instead because my skin is quite sensitive. I was happy to trust her expertise. She explained in detail what clothing I needed to remove, the process of the treatment, etc, which I appreciated as this was my first facial ever and first time at this spa and was a bit self-conscious.

I’ve never felt so utterly relaxed in my life. Combined with the treatment itself, the music, linens, room temp and lighting...it was all very transcendent. It was such an enjoyable, pampering experience and my skin felt baby soft after.

In the end, I opted for the offer where you spend at least 60,000 HUF and get the treatment complimentary. I asked for advice on which products to buy, saying I’m yet to find a good exfoliater and rich enough moisturiser. She asked where I live so she could consider the climate and, having seen my skin up close, was able to suggest a couple of products I’m thoroughly enjoying so far. I’ll have to see long term how they work for my skin, but so far I love them.

It’s also worth noting, I believe they only provide one treatment at a time, and the boutique is for those receiving treatments (rather than off the street shoppers) so you truly feel pampered and special. A very exclusive experience.

I plan to do it all over again on my next visit to Budapest (Andrássy Avenue) and would consider visiting other locations on my travels.

Very calm and spacious interior displaying local Hungarian skincare. Thier cleansing mask is excellent.

I started using Omorovicza products once I moved to Budapest and I love the products and also found that I always have good results from Omorovicza's facials. Overall I have enjoyed the facials that I have had. I found that the trained therapists are very professional, and they really know what they are doing. The facial usually starts with a skin analysis, followed by cleanse, treatment and massage. Each facial is customised to address skin concerns at that time.

The opening times on the door do not match the actual opening hours, it says they close at 6pm but actually it’s 8pm! But the door is closed all the time and it looked like there is no one- it was so confusing! You need to ring the bell on the side to enter but that totally wasn’t obvious to me - so I had to come back next day only to find out actually they were indeed open. It would be better to put a sign with real opening hours and a big reference that you need to ring the bell!!

This was the highlight of my trip to Budapest just a Shane it is very hard to make a booking as they are often fully booked. It maybe expensive but it was a lovely experience
