Amazing customer service! We ordered a pair online for our wedding but the sizing didn't quite fit. We contacted Vass and Vivien was so kind and helpful. She helped us figure out the new sizing, rushed the production of the new shoes (they didn't have it in stock), and shipped it priority. The shoes themselves are gorgeous. I purchased my first pair of Vass shoes in their Budapest store last week. The service was impeccable. The salesman clearly knew everything about shoes and gave me great advice on sizing. Thanks to him, I bought the shoes that are perfect for my feet. As to the appearance of shoes I am very impressed by the quality of the leather and the overall construction. I am sure they will serve me well for many years to come.

Vass is a traditional, down-to-earth, family-owned company making high quality shoes that will last you decades. They have a large selection of ready-to-wear (RTW) shoes in-store. If you are not able to find something in-store, it is possible to order custom shoes and have them shipped over to you. This takes approximately 1.5 months but is worth the wait: MTM shoes give you a greater degree of flexibility: you can choose the last (you can also request modifications to the width), leather colour, sole type etc... Vass has a very wide selection of lasts (10+), from the clunky/classic Budapester to more elegant lasts, so there is something for everybody here. I have two pairs: one RTW and one MTM. Both were painfully expensive, but are an absolute joy to wear. The post-sale service is also reliable: I still haven’t had to have a shoe resoled but did need to have a new pair stretched, which Vass did for me to perfection. Beautiful classic handmade shoes. I went there with my husband since he wanted to try a pair of shoes from Vass Shoes and I discovered that they have a small selection for women too. So we ended up with a pair of shoes each and we already have next ones on our wishlists. It's a great old school (in a good way) shoe store, they know what they are doing!

Beautifully made shoes. You can order almost any combination of leathers, colors and styles. Shipping works flawless. Shoes are worth the money and wait. Recommend to get matching a matching belt with your shoes. Small but cosy shop with friendly and competent staff. Be aware that these shoes need walking in.

The staff is utterly helpful and the sales manager Kuti Rezsö is fantastic. If you have a coupe of hundred Euros over, this is definitely a place worth visiting!

I am owning by now 6pair of vass shoes and have my own custom form which are still very reasonavly priced compared with Swiss or London models. My first pair was a cordovan leather shoe which is now 8 years old and looks better with every year.

I found the f last to be true to size. Just make sure you know what EU size you are in regular DRESS SHOES not SNEAKERS. Incredible Shoes.
