They have a higher quality fruit selection relative to other spars. Really like that prices are well-labelled here, and they have self-checkout. The expat spar near me has a cranky cashier lady I try to avoid 🌝

Bakery selection is great too; the deluxe chocolate csiga in particular is better than some bakeries while being less than half the price 🐷

Very nice young girl was working on Wednesday morning. She was very helpful and friendly. She deserves a raise. One of the best Spar branches.

Five star for the waiter, a limping old and tall man who kindly got me out of trouble at the self-checkout machine with my fruits not properly labelled and several customers behind me fuming. That’s when I learned how to say “thank you” in Hungarian: KÖSZ.

It's a Spar. It's not a bad size but is obviously mostly for buying a few things not a big shop. It's not cheap exactly, but it's really pretty good considering you are on a boutique street in a major European capital city. Lots of cold drinks. Sometimes hot food available but can vary. Fruit/veg selection can be a bit ropey. Usually they discount bakery goods 30-60 minutes before close.

Compact store with lots of merchandise. Excellent deli with bakery goods. Fresh produce. Perfect location. Reasonable prices.

Nice price, real black pudim, Hungarian style + choco milk+chicken nuggets +apricot doughnut delicious.

It has everything U need and even more, but self-service cash desk is odd, it weights goods and U can't just put Ur own bag on it - it starts crying - "U didn't buy it, alarm!" 🤪
