Zala Springs Golf Resort

One of the best accomodations in Hungary! If I could give more stars, I would!

Great location with the surrounding environmet, beautiful atmosphere and really great staff. Most friendly and helpful receptionist ever.
Everything about the resort was exceptional. It was very clean, stylish, and the apartments are huge! On my second stay, I also got a sauna on the balcony. So very well equipped.
Food was good and great value for money and service was attentive and efficient. I was very pleased with my stay. When I visit Zala again, I will definately come back to Zala Springs!

Very beautiful golf course ! The greens are fast. The food is not top tier. Hotel rooms are very modern.

Had a wonderful stay at Zala Springs Golf resort - played 2 rounds mid February and stayed one night in a serviced apartment.
Truly exceptional golf course, with fantastic design and some really interesting risk/reward holes.
The spa and pool area is exceptional too.
Perhaps the greatest was the customer service though. An example, on the first round I lost my Gap Wedge somewhere and by the end of the day it hadn't been handed in.
The following morning I teed off around 9am, and on the 14th hole one of the reception staff had found my wedge and driven it out to me (at one of the furthest parts of the course).
Also, thoroughly enjoyed eating at the restaurant, great value and one of the best fillet steak's I've ever eaten.
Changing room area & lockers was also just a different class, shower facilities and all.
Driving range was well laid out.
Overall, possibly the best Golf Resort I've visited (including rounds played in Florida, Mexico, England, Portugal and more).
For February too, the weather was great and the course was very well kept, some awesome lake holes to enjoy too (9th a particular highlight for me).

NOTE: Review pertains only to golf and the restaurant since we didn't stay in the hotel

A few of us were interested in trying out golf so we took the Introduction to golf package, as advertised on the resort's webpage. It includes explanation of the rules, practice and instructions on the driving and putting range, a tour of the course and lunch/dinner at the restaurant afterwards. The whole thing lasts for about 1h30-40mins without lunch/dinner; take this into account if you're planning to eat at a certain time.

The whole experience was great, the instructor speaks great English and explained the rules and techniques of golf in a patient and competent manner. The course is lovely, well maintained and surrounded by beautiful scenery.

Lunch in the restaurant was also great; the menu is the same as regular ordering. Being a golf course we had our suspicions that the portions would be tiny, but we were proven wrong. The only thing not included in the price is the steak, which I think is reasonable.

All in all a great experience which I would reccomend to anyone. Special shout out to Atilla, our instructor!

Zala Springs is a totally nice place.
The hotel is very nice, clean and modern.
Also the restaurant - we went twice there and they had different themes and also buffet which was very good (but not that hot). Breakfast was great!
I had two times dessert which was that not good.
Service was very nice and helpful.
The golf court is also good. The trainer is kind and recommendable as he could give us good advise and was kind.

Friendly service, elegant environment, great food!
Worth to stop both for golf lovers and for anybody who just wants a nice meal or a drink on a hot summer day at a great place!

Beautiful golf resort, accommodation in apartments and a nice wellness for guests. Excellent cuisine and friendly staff throughout the resort. Prices slightly higher, but le for good service is to be paid. The course is very interesting, all in flat and in excellent quality.

The view is the main extra. It’s lovely.

Food and coffee were excellent. The waiter girl was extremely kind, and ready to accommodate special requests, without raising an eyebrow. They are able to offer vegan meals per request.

They have plant-based (rice) milk for cappuccinos 👌

Largest golf resort in Central Europe. Great place to play golf or only to have a lunch or coffee. Very popular for wedding ceremonies as well.

By far the best hotel experience I’ve had in Hungary. Friendly staff, excellent quality of food, plenty of vegan options.

Good golf course, in a good conditions. Once you are in this part of Balatone, it worth to play here.

Excellent golf course. The view is astonishing at any given time of the year. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I've attended two events in the past, and will definitely visit again!

Gorgeous place. Very peaceful, lots of green everywhere. Rooms are big very modern with every thing you need. You can take golf lessons and play. Was here one night could have stayed for a few for sure.

Beautiful landscape, modern exterior and interior design, enough and safe parking place, comfortable rooms and tasty dishes. Those who enjoy spas and golf, this is a place to try. Lake Balaton is also in a reachable distance.

Nice, modern apartments with beautiful view. It was so quite, we could really rest perfect. The stuff was very helpful and friendly. Delicious breakfast.

You can practice unlimited golf for free here if you book a 1h training. A basket of balls cost 1000 Ft, golf clubs are available. Great restaurant and atmosphere.

Very clean, welcomed, nice place, despite bad weather (cold, snowy and windy). Should be nice in summer. Vast car park, free Wi-Fi.
