Captain Cook Pub

One of my favourite places to grab a quick drink when in tourist district.

Service let it down on this visit, the servers were not as friendly as usual.

Recommend the mojito and freshly made lemonade.

What a great little pub in the center of Budapest. Staff were really friendly, especially with us as non-Hungarian speakers. The food was quite good. And of course the beer in this part of the world is good and cheap. All in all a great stop for us on the day!

I highly recommend this place, great cocktails prepared by the bartender. We will go back there again🤩👌🏻

This was our go to pub for the Xmas markets. Great service, very reasonable prices and a great atmosphere

Loved this pub. Food and drink was great. The interior is awesome...the bar is a boat & all the decor is boat/nautical themed. Nice staff. Prices reasonable. Would visit again when in the area 👍

Very close the Basilica and offers a good value beer.

We came across this pub whilst walking about Budapest and thought we would give it a try. Me and 3 family members all had burgers and they were amazing. No complaints at all and the portions were generous. Couldn't fault them at all

The drinks are incredible and very cheap we also ordered the potato wedges that was a great side for our cocktails

Captain Cooks is a great place for food and drinks. Centrally located they have a nice patio and a comfortable setting inside. Food and service is great, staff are friendly and helpful. We highly recommend this pub and will definitely be back.

Great little bar, great selection of drinks

I adore this place for the view they offer from the terrace — it’s unbeatable! Good choice of drinks and not overpriced despite being in the very heart of the city. The service is always amazing, you never have to wait. Cozy place, totally recommended. And they have nice food too!

Lovely little pub and very reasonable

We came here 3 times in our 4 day trip. It was very nice cocktails were so nice and very cheap, like less than £4 per cocktail. Cosy place. As well as their cocktails food was very nice and reasonable price. Very nice pulled pork sandwich!! Would recommend to go here, music is decent too x

I took there just a beer but I can give 5 starts for the girlwho was super helpful about wine selection. Thanks to her my friend had great experience on her first trip to Hungary ;).
