The service was good. Food was really tasty. During the dinner you could try everything (if you have enough space in your stomach). The menu is really big, also vegan option. Desserts are good. Highly recommend this place to visit

Amazing experience from A to Z. A warm welcome at the entrance to friendly multilingual staff (myself FR/DE/EN) tested and all working well. Food meets expectations and you can really enjoy and relax here (1 adult : 3 children's ratio speaking). We'll definitely come back!

AI restaurant! What can be better? 😁 We had a really good time here. You can eat whatever your heart desires. Simply just grab any dish you want. They have a variaty of salads, meat, snaks, rolls, deserts and even fresh cooked fish! Which I liked a lot.

So how is fresh meat/seafood dishes works?
You need to go to the raw fish/meat stand and ask to cook desired piece. They will give you a number tracker, that will show when the food is ready and you can pick it up.

Prices are not low for Budapest, but considering what and how much you can eat, they seem to be quite adequate. However, compared to restaurants in other EU countries of 11,990 HUF (c.a. 31-33 €), the price looks quite encouraging.

Quite a large selection of various dishes, including fish, meat, vegetable salads, fruit, cheese, soups (I recommend Ragout soup with tarragon - delicious!), hot and grilled dishes (prepared immediately to order after specifying what you want). A large selection of desserts. Wine and non-alcoholic drinks (included in the price of dinner). Tasty lemonade!

A nice gift in the form of a piece of cake (when the table reservation please indicate that it will be your birthday on the day you visit): you can take a cake with you.

Remember that at the end of the dinner you will be asked if you would like to leave a tip: then the final price of the dinner will not be 11,990 HUF, but 13,200 HUF.

It's not a place for everyday visits, but from time to time, especially if it's your party or some other occasion, it can be a good choice to spend an evening with delicious dishes and drinks.

Here you can find both traditional Hungarian dishes and international food. The staffs were so kind, and the atmosphere was cosy enough. If you are a tourist, don’t miss out on this local restaurant 😉

Magnificent experience. We were greeted by two very kind waiters who explained to us how the “all you can eat” offer works, while accompanying us to the table and serving us with a welcome lemonade. The choice of dishes varies from more typical Hungarian things to international cousine. Everything is delicious and I fell in love with the goulash and desserts. To top it off, the waiters in their educations are extremely empathetic and helpful, not to mention their beautiful and professional appeal. I really do recommend it to anyone that is looking for a fabulous experience.

Great value although the prices are expensive by Hungarian standards, the quality is good. Prices depend on the time of the week (see photo). The price also includes all you can drink. There's a buffet with mostly traditional Hungarian food (e.g. Duck legs, goulash etc) but some other stuff like sushi and smoked salmon. There's also a grill where they'll cook things like prawns or meat for you freshly. Service was good too, always good at taking your used plates away. Come if you're hungry - I needed a nap afterwards!

Fantastic gulash and different meats, even beef tatare. Great food and atmosphere, service is super kind and attentive.

We've tried many of the wide range of freshly made and prepared food all delicious. To our delight they have a variety of soups and cold food selection as well. The regular fruit selections included fresh sweet seasonal fruit too such as strawberry and watermelon ( been there in June). Staff is friendly and helpful, the waitress separated a table for the two of us.

I visited Trófea three times during my five week stay in Budapest. Consistency was apparent in the quality of their food, the service, and the cleanliness of their facility. All of many staff members I interacted with could speak English and were universally helpful and gracious. The service staff is what you would expect at five star dining. Patrik is a superstar, extremely professional. The food labels on every item were quite helpful, especially since they also had English translations. The buffet was maintained perfectly, with a staff member nearby at all times for safety. It’s a great way to try lots of classic Hungarian dishes. The grill (which I wasn’t even aware of on my first visit) has an impressive selection of meats, including several types of fish and shrimp. The grill also has items for vegetarians or vegans. Be sure to let them know if you do not want salt on your grilled meat. The desert selection is impressive and also well-maintained. They are constantly cooking a variety of thin crust pizzas and passing those, or you can get slices at the bar. They allow you 2.5 hours to eat, and I never felt rushed. All beverages including many alcohol selections are included in the price. The restrooms are carefully maintained, with hot water and soap.

We were a party of 7 who were celebrating a special birthday.
The waiters were attentive, asking for drinks orders, clearing empty glasses and plates, bringing pizza slices and explaining how the restaurant worked.
There was a fantastic choice of salads, cold meats, sushi etc for starters. The grill selection was vast and catered to our party's different tastes and the accompaniments and main dishes in the canteens were varied with choices for vegans and vegetarians.
The desserts were delicious and we had a free chocolate cake for the birthday girl with candles and happy birthday song played.
The 3 hour slot for the dinner is a good time to eat 3 courses and make the most of the all inclusive drinks.
The service was fantastic, I look forward to revisiting Budapest to visit again!
