Such a cute and funny way to stay before your Ijen hike. It’s a real adventure. I’m not exactly sure in which warung we stayed, they are all close to each other, but I believe it was the one furthest on the right when you stand facing them. It’s so unique, you basically sleep on the floor in the back of the warung, you can get a sleeping bag. Also they sell like hats and rent jackets and also they are open aaaaall night, you can order meals (ok), drink a coffee or tea, buy water and snacks. And it’s really affordable, especially regarding the fact that there is nothing else around (besides of course the other warungs just next to it). We were there with an organized trip so I don’t know if or how much you pay to sleep there. It’s right at the starting point for the hike.

Side note: go to ijen in summer, as during rain season you’ll probably see no sunrise
