Two Fish Divers Bunaken

Stayed at Two Fish Bunaken for 4 nights only and I wish I had more days off to extend a bit more. Everything was well organized. From the airport pick up to the boat transfer and then the transfer to their Lembeh branch. All the staff at the resort were nice, friendly and competent. Thanks to all the boat staff, the guide (Rocky), Sam and Ilse (I hope I remembered well). I had a budget room with shared bathroom and toilet. It was clean and of a good size. But it was a bit warm at night to sleep but nothing too bad as there is a fan. Still loved my stay. Delicious food as well. The dives were great, lots of marine life, turquoise waters and tons of turtles! One week would be a good length :) I'd come back without hesitation and can only recommend it.

Me and my girlfriend had an amazing stay at Two Fish Divers in Bunaken! After having a bad experience with scuba diving we decided to look for a 5-star PADI resort to get Open water certified which brought us to Two Fish Divers. We had the most amazing experience here! The cottage we got was nice and clean and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. The food is indonesian style which was not always to our liking but i appreciate the set-timing so you'll learn to know other divers as well! The diving course was all arranged very well by Jecky who informed us great about everything we needed to know. For the confined and open water dives we were instructed by Mendy who was very professional and really knew how to handle specific situations in which my girlfriend was not feeling comfortable, chapeau!

Both Jecky and Mendy are great musicians and if you have the time try to visit Deco Stop for some live music! We really enjoyed the music and felt immediately as a part of the group.

We will definately come back to Two Fish Divers after this amazing experience, thank you so much!

Had a stay with Two Fish Bunaken for a week in early Feb 2022. Did 14 dives with them and it was a fantastic experience. Colin and Maia are so helpful and professional. You will not get bored staying with them. Tian is another Dive Guide who always share his experiences during the dive interval. Really had a great time with them.

Personally I’m a vegen and they have no problem prepare my meal. Thanks to the kitchen staff for changing my menu everyday.

The cottage that I’m staying is clean and spacious. The surrounding is cozy and clean. I dont even get a mosquito bite during my sleep. 😄

Definitely will go back to visit them. Hope to see you guys soon and thanks for all the services and the fantastic dive experiences.

I had a amazing stay at Two Fish Divers Bunaken! The place is very beautiful, super clean (the bedsheet smell so fresh) and well maintained. Swimming pool and garden are ultra clean too. The shower has hot water and the room provided with fans (we didnt feel hot). We do not dive but joined the snorkeling tour, it was amazing despite the half rainy/cloudy weather, the visibility was still about 20 meters. The day after we snorkeled in front of the hotel, pass the reef and it was magical! Just need to walk carefully when the tide is low not to break the coral.
The staff, both local and foreign, is so friendly, helpful and arranging. The other guests were super friendly too, we met very nice people.
Transfer from Calaca port in Manado to the hotel was arranged by the staff after I called them and informed them of our venue.
The food was also very nice and fresh.
I definitely recommend this place for relaxing holidays.

The diving was amazing despite low visibility due to the weather. Accommodation was comfortable, clean and convenient for diving. The food was good but more variety may have been nicer. Colin and the staff were consistently reminding us of safety both in the boat and in the water. COVID protocols were well managed and adhered to and we would definitely return to Two Fish Bunaken.

Utterly fantastic in every way! I dived with Tian, Colin and Maia for a week as well as staying on the resort and every aspect of the operation is top notch.

The diving is astonishing. Clear blue water, plummeting walls and a ton of life. I’ve never seen so many turtles: there were several points where the only response left to me was to just giggle at how many I could see at the same time!! They are taking off, landing, having a nap or just swimming by and taking no heed at all if you happen to be in the way! But there is so much more life than just the turtles. We saw froggies, rays, barracuda, trevallies, tuna, morays and a fantastic array of crabs, shrimps and nudis.

I dived with Tian and he was the perfect guide. Great fun, always ready to pose for a photo, always laughing but also safe, professional and with a fantastic eye for both big and tiny marine life (although I’m still not sure that the black marlin was out there!! 😂).

Colin and Maia do a great job of making sure things run smoothly and were also great to dive with. I managed to get a fairly nasty ear infection while I was there and they were able help me treat that meaning that I only sat out one planned dive.

The food and the bar area are great - even with me there as the only guest that week, it was still a great place to hang out and Tian and Geraldo don’t need too much encouragement for a music night!

For the price, it doesn't get much better than TwoFish Divers in Bunaken. Meals are always very tasty, the resort is well run, the staff are very nice, very professional and the diving is fantastic. Arjun is an excellent instructor and did a great job certifying 3 kids in our party. Our dive guide was Jecky/Jeq and I have to say I have never had a guide as good as him. He gave very clear dive briefings, was very safety-conscious, and frequently checked on our air throughout the dives. He was also great at finding critters, AND, he knew the scientific binomial names of almost everything I asked him about that he found for us on the dives!! Wow. We felt very safe diving with him. If only he could be my guide on all my future dives. The Standard rooms are cooler but noisy due to being next to the road, and sometimes fumes (from the generator or compressor?) could be smelled in the early mornings. The smooth tiled floors in the Standard rooms get sticky from being cleaned with the island water that is slightly brackish (but all resorts on Bunaken have this issue - the upside is that mosquitoes are less of a problem compared with islands that have fresh water). The cottages are warmer compared to the Standard rooms but without the sticky floor issue because their floors are wood. All dive equipment is well maintained and of good quality. All their wetsuits are shorties. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

Flew from Jakarta to dive. Everything was very clear and professional from the start. Staffs were amazing, Colin is a great host, friendly and super knowledgeable and Tian is a very entertaining divemaster and rockstar.

Place is well thought, nice room, food also fantastic. Had a very great time there and will go back here again if I want to dive in Bunaken.

Huge shout out to Maia as a perfect instructor who makes OW course so knowledgeable and fun at the same time! (Thanks for patiently teaching this kid who lost the log book after 1st dive 🤣)

She's so good that I could literally hear her voice in my head underwater when showing hand signal 🤙🤙🤙

Great place to stay while diving. Max 15 minutes to get to dive site, excellent guides to show us around. On top, great staff in dive center and on the boat, also at the resort. Enjoyed alot the divers daily meals too!

Had an amazing time at Two Fish Bunaken. Super friendly and very well set up dive resort in a peaceful island setting. The food was good, and the diving was incredible. If you like walls and turtles, this is the place for you!!
I also did my rescue course here, Colin was an excellent instructor - the course was fun but he also made sure I had all the skills mastered properly.
Would thoroughly recommend Two Fish Bunaken whether you are snorkeler, beginner diver or advanced. I will definitely be back!

Our family stayed at Two Fish on Bunaken for 4 nights in December. We had a great time. We enjoyed the resort as it had a nice pool for the kids to play in and served good food. The diving off Bunaken was amazing, and Colin and Maia were very helpful with our two children. We all got to dive, even my 9 year old son did a few bubble maker introduction dives. The equipment provided for the dives was good and we saw so many interesting creatures under the sea.

We had a great experience at Two Fish Divers Bunaken. All the resort staff were friendly and the customer service was excellent. We did the Open Water course with Arjun and were very lucky that there was no one else in our group so it became a private course. Arjun is a brilliant instructor who is very knowledgeable and clear in his explanations. The visibility in Bunaken is amazing and the water is warm and calm, I would 100% recommend it for any beginner divers (like me)

The only thing I felt could be improved was that the bar didn't have a big range of stock, however this is understandable as we went a few months ago when they were just opening up again after COVID, they mentioned they were going to start stocking a bigger variety of food and drinks soon.

From the moment I booked till they dropped me back to the airport everything was flawless! The lodging is excellent (cottage, bar, relax area, swimming pool, dining room)… with a nice set up to spend the days diving & relaxing. The organization of the schedule is great and the rules are very clear and respected. The dive trips are well planned and safety is of the outmost concern.

Outstanding experience. Cabins were clean, great environment in terms of gardens and pool, food was delicious as well. In terms of the diving or snorkeling, all of the equipment was excellent, safety was emphasized and the entire staff was great in their respective roles. I would definitely stay there again. Great hotel and a wonderful experience.

I did not dive, but the people I was with did and saw amazing wildlife - even an octopus! I snorkeled every day and was absolutely astounded at the diversity and wildlife at every location. The turtles, eels, fish, and coral were amazing.

Back at the resort it was very easy to relax, read, research the wildlife I'd seen, or explore the mangroves. The food is SO good, and very easy to have vegetarian or vegan options. There's even a bar with beer, wine, and cocktails.

I actually extended my stay instead of going back to a fancy hotel in Manado. I could not recommend Two Fish Bunaken highly enough.

The best place on the island!!
I did my Padi open water course at Two Fish. I had Maia as instructor and she was great! I loved it. I even saw 26 turtles in the last dive of my open water course. After my course I did many dives, and the people are really flexible about when/how you want to dive. Everything is very well taken care of and the people are awesome. They are more like a (Two Fish) family. Moreover, the food is really tasty and the rooms are clean. Everything you would need on this island :)
Diving at Bunaken is exceptional and I would recommend Two Fish Bunaken to everyone. I'll be back!

My husband and I took our PADI Open Water Diving license here and it was completely fun! Our instructors were Helen and Ilse, and they were great. Very patient, radiating positive vibes and very helpful throughout the course. They were very professional and friendly at the same time. We also love the ambience there where we could gather with other guests during breakfast, lunch, and dinner - so we could talk to each other and share stories. The place was safe and they had reliable service as well. To conclude, we had a pleasant time there :)

It was such a lovely stay with Two fish bunaken! I have stayed there for 4 weeks and everyone was so friendly and nice to me. Diving there was excellent, local guides are experienced and the dives were so diversed from wall dive to sloping reefs where you could see a lot ranging from big things like sharks and eagle rays to macro stuff like pygmy seahorses, really impressive. Food was outstanding, it served in buffet style and there was even desserts every night. Room was also cleaned everyday, very nice. Swimming pool was one of the best part in the resort where was relatively big and very clean.

Two Fish Bunaken is an absolute gem. My wife and I spent a week there and wish we had longer. I took the Open Water course with Colin, who was a phenomenal instructor. Crystal clear communicator, highly skilled diver, patient calm and made it easy to learn. This was a great transition into a number of fun dives with very sharp guides and stunning coral. More turtles than I could count! The group meals made for a fun atmosphere, and we loved the food - lots of vegetables, great salad, a good variety to fuel up for those dives.
