Mangrove Jembatan Api-Api (MJAA)

It was the second time I visited this place. The location was close to the New Yogyakarta International Airport. It was nice, but there were not many people came. You could across some bridges there and it was quite challenging for me. For the ticket, it was written 6k/person. Not only mangroves there, there was also beach if you went through it. You could enjoy your vacation here with your family and friends. You could find many instagrammable spots there. Hope many more people could visit this cool place.

A very unique tourist attraction in Kulonprogo. It offers a park on a mangrove forest which is built entirely with bamboos. So many different buildings such as bridges, towers, and statues. The park is also connected to a beach with beautiful black sand. It's a shame it's not quite popular so i saw only few visitors even on weekend days. I wish there were more visitor to help improve local economy.

Good place for short trip. Near jogja city. Need some maintenance in several photo spots. But the place clean and cheap enough compare to other beach around jogja

This is conservation area for mangrove plants, which could be "walls" of tsunami. At the river of sea-shore of Kulon Progo beach. Among the plants, there are wooden bridge, we walk on.
Very clean. Many rubbish box are laid there.
The mangrove, shrimps pools, wooden boats, beach, wooden bridge, wooden tower.

The other features that needed to be appreciated from this place are clean toilets and comfortable praying room. The people in this place are also very helpful and veeery friendly.

Parking area will be overload on holidays.

Took quite a long time to reach this place from the Yogyakarta city center. No public transportation rute as far as I know.
The development is still goin on (I hope). There are some section where it seems like it's abadoned but you can also spot newly installed section. Boating through the canal is quite fun. There are many food stalls near the beach where you can buy food or juat bring yours from home and have a picnic on beach.

one of tourist places that must be visited in Kulonprogo Yogyakarta especially in Jangkaran Village, Pasir Mendhit. The location is closed to the Pantai selatan (South Beach) and it was surrounded by tambak udang (shrimp pond). This place provides jembatan gantung (hanging bridge) which most of the bridges over there were made by bamboo and it also has so many photoshoot spots. So everybody who loves a selfie/wefie-holic, you better don't skip this place. You may also rent a boat to go arround seeing the beauty of this place on the water.

This place is very interesting to explore, especially for children. Beside exploring the photo corners, children can also learn about the mangroves, beach, booths, animals, and shore vegetations.
