I've known this authentic Yogyakarta brand of bags for a long time. The unique thing about Dowa bags is the combination of crocheted fabric with durable leather material. I once visited their production site around the Wates ring road. Their bags are durable, beautiful, and unique. They are suitable as gifts for relatives or friends. Currently, they are also available in Jakarta, in the area of Cikajang Street.

Great local product, nice ambience, very strategic location. They have 2 floors, the second floor is for the cheaper one. I personally like the products in second floor since almost all are fully made from crochet and more suitable for chic style, not too old fashioned, while the first floor displayed formal bags style, which use leather too. They offer discount for garuda miles owner

Great souvenir from Jogja for women. The quality exceeded the price. The stitches, spaces between threads, designs, hardwares were well made. It came with almost every colour. Too bad white and beige was close to none.
The staffs were very polite and helpful.
There were not many guests when I came around Sat noon and Sunday morning so I could browse the bag at ease. The store was well ventilated and clean.
