Molina's Cafe

When I was far away from home, Molina’s cafe offered a place of healing and rest. After going up some stairs, I could smell the fragrant spices of the dish that Molina was preparing. We were immediately met with Molina’s wide smile and excitement of sharing her homemade dishes. And after a long day of diving, we just asked to be served her special menu of the day.

While waiting for the food we enjoyed the breeze and the beautiful view of Iboih beach. There is even a hammock and a space to do yoga. And Molina’s kitchen reminds me of my Mom’s kitchen with all its fine and healthy ingredients.

To our suprise, Molina prepared a delicious pumpkin soup and a mouthwatering potato gratin. Something we surely did not expect on the furthest island in Indonesia.

Molina offers amazing food that is homemade, freshly prepared, and using the best ingredients available. My favourite so far has been the homemade garlic bread with tasty guacamole. For dessert I can’t recommend enough Molina’s mango ice cream. Don’t forget to try her lemonade.

I am especially thankful for Molina’s kindness and hospitality as I wasn’t in my best health when I visited her cafe. Her homemade yoghurt healed my stomachache.

Now that I’m on the way back to my real home, Molina and her cafe feels like a dreamy place too good to be true. It has certainly become one of the main reasons for me to come back to Iboih. I miss it already.

In case you reach Pulau Weh make sure you go to Molina's. I guarantee the trouble is worth it. The food is amazing, as well as the homemade drinks, the ice cream and the cakes. There is an extra something about each and everything that is served. Either the cinnamon in the lime fresh juice, the shiitake mushrooms in the pumpkin soup or the butter in the brownie. Molina is such a pleasant host and the cafe itself is very serene.

Had breakfast here every day, and it was delicious. Good quality and tasteful food. Wonderful service.

Molina is a very kind and kind-hearted person. She helped me a lot in my stay on the island. Her food si so delicious, don't miss the homemade ice cream, the best! Thanks Molina, I'll miss you. 😊

Wonderful place, depending on the day either operating from the cafe downstairs or the larger space above the canopy. Whatever Molina and her helpers have on offer was always delicious!

Molina cooks with love! “I cook what I love and share it with people” she said. Her food is delicious. The juices are SO good, the guacamole is to die for! Her coffee is the best in town. Her welcoming smile is priceless. She loves Iboih and looks after its environment. She offered us take away in her own glass container not to use plastic. You have to visit her to have a real insight of this amazing small community of Iboih.

The food was delicious and made from fresh products. The view was beautiful en the staff was very friendly! We would recommend this place to everyone. If the lime juice with cinnemon is available, you have to try it 🤩

We went to Molina's twice 2 days in a row. One night we came just to have hot drinks: they have a great taste ginger (fresh not instant - rare in Aceh) and our friend had their coffee booster. In the morning we came again for breakfast as our friend told us they had the best pancake in Sabang, and so truee! We had a really great banana pancake and Acehnese traditiinal coffee. We love their cute little cafe and the decor. Also the warmest hospitality from ibu Molina and love the mother & son duo in the kitchen! Definately recommend if u are in Ibhoi

When in Ibioh, you have to go to Molina. She makes excellent food and is such a lovely person to talk to for hours. It thus became our regular place in Ibioh and we can really recommend it!

A great and fantastic place to stay and eat! The food is probably the most delicious you can grab in Iboih and the owners Molina and Franz are so welcoming and good to have around! If you are in for a relaxed time go upstairs and chill out in their hammock whilst you wait for the freshly made food. Take one of their delicious juices if you are wise ;-) best regards from Germany to Iboih!

Aaaand I’m back for the second night in a row. This serene eatery located at the third floor of Molina Waroeng is to die for! Tonight’s treat is another off-the-menu that shows off Molina’s culinary expertise in its most elegant setting. Pictured here is what she calls fusili gratin, and trust me, this brings world peace

Smacked at a quiet corner of iboih, this hidden gem has everything from wholesomeness and deliciousness in their meal. Owner, Molina and her husband has brought a flavour of Weh-warmth to us group of hungry divers.
Make sure to ask for any off-menu items and you’re in for a treat. Most of their food are made from scratch, which make a bang for your dollar.

You could tell the owner make the food with heart and passion. The place is very pretty with some Balinese vibe, the food, drinks, desserts were super good, ingredient is super rich. I couldn’t stop thinking about it, will definitely come again when I’m in Weh in the future. Please make a booking if you are coming with bigger group so they could prepare your meals in advance.

Best food all over Sumatra! We went here for a three course dinner, the pumpkin soup was incredible tasty and I would definitely go back to Pulau Weh only for a piece of cake with self made banana coffee ice cream from Molina! Thank you for a very nice evening!

Absolutely delicious. The banana porridge is amazing, as well as the potato omelette I fell in love with and the mixed fruit pancake. We had breakfast there every morning before going diving.

Best pancakes on the island. Big portions too. Looks closed on outside with black blinds when passing, but have a look in to check if the counters opened.

Its nice place to come, her hot chocolate is delicious with little bit brown sugar, my girlfiend and i likes it. Look forward to come again here😁👍

The best food and is a cream in town. Everything we tried it was really good, the way they prepare the food and presentation you can see it was done with love. Molina is always smiling and make you feel like home.

Molina's is a beautiful cafe with a stunning view to match the delicious, fresh food. The potato omelette was perfect and the lime juice with cinnamon sugar was incredibly refreshing. It helps that Molina herself is absolutely lovely and creates a great atmosphere with her smile, warmth and awesome food. A must try! Ps. The homemade yoghurt is superb!
